I think he hit it on the head. I hope Morrison sees things this way too. I think we are out of the playoffs I would fire fox now to begin the search in earnest. You could probably give Meeks interim status and let him know he will be considered for the job.

Davidson should be the first to go IMO.

I don't thinkn so.

We were all wanting to run Henning out of town becuase he was too conservative and predictable. He leaves and is heading one of the most creative offenses in the league. He is willing ot go outside the box to try and put his offensive players in positions where they can be successful. The Dolphins may not be good right now, but Henning was proven to not be what we thought he was.

The problem clearly lies with Fox. He is a control freak who will not allow his assistants any freedom. This was made evident by all of our assistants chosing to risk being unemployed rather that work under him for another year.

    • No one way to do it, it does appear that with the bigger draft picks of the last 5 years…..majority haven’t steered clear of young QBs on the roster being their hopeful guy. Especially past their rookie seasons but even some the biggest ones have had it early.   As far as Andy Dalton, the two young guys he has “mentored”…..have had very rough NFL starts.  Which really ask the why the heck is Dalton here.   He doesn’t really check any box.  No young potential.  Can’t step in and win.  And his mentor track record with Fields and now Bryce is bad
    • I had thought the Panthers might let him play out his contract this year and hope he stays healthy. If not draft a left tackle and move Ekwonu to right tackle.
    • Frankly, if most teams in the NFL lose their starting QB for a significant amount of time, they're screwed. The fantasy is that one has a future Tony Romo or a Nick Foles that can carry a stacked team. The reality is that you might get roughly 3~5 games out of your backup before it all falls apart. Remember all of Peyton Manning's backups? Utterly terrible. Speaking of backup QB's, Raiders may need one. https://www.nfl.com/news/raiders-qb-aidan-o-connell-suffered-fractured-wrist-in-preseason-finale-expected-to-be-out-6-8-weeks
