Jake Delhomme (who is the 3rd worst QB in the league and has the 2nd most ints...) gives us our best chance to win.

A head coach about as clueless and lifeless as the now unemployed Dick Jauron, who also answers everything with 'it is what it is'.

An owner that underwent a heart transplant about a year ago, who fired both of his sons near the begining of the season.

A Gm that trades away all of our future first round draft picks at the drop of a hat, who is stupid enough to give a ton of guaranteed money to that failure of a QB listed Above AND who's ego wouldn't let him trade a man that is taking up 1 million per game this year and doesn't want to be here.

So is that about the bulk of it right there? If so...how can anyone with a straight face say we currently aren't one of the worst franchises in the NFL right now? Right now this Org is an absolute joke.

Because, despite all of the above...we actually have alot of talent on this team. We are only a couple pieces away TBH. Need a new direction in coaching, QB WR DT and voila, we are winning again.

One problem...our GM traded away our (what will be a high one....) first round pick for this year which a new GM/ HC could really use.

the million dollar man kid of forced Hurney's hand in restructuring Jake's contract ( he'll never see all that money). I'm sure Peppers would have been traded if we could have gotten SOMETHING for him. nobody wanted to give us squat for the former first-rounder. i think otah and stewart played a big role in us being 12-4 last year, so i can't fault Hurney for trading picks at that time. as for the richardson's? who knows what really went on?

As someone else has said, they couldn't get anything decent for Peppers.

You can say what you want, but this team has TONS of talent. Yes, our WRs haven't performed - but let's be honest, how much of that is the WRs and how much is the QB? He misses them even when they're WIDE OPEN! We have one of the best defenses in the league (in no small part thanks to some great drafts), the best tandem of backs in the league, one of the most dangerous WRs.... This team is FULL of talent.

So yeah, you can blame Hurney if you want, but I think he's done fine... with the exceptio nof the Jake contract. However, he is not the one playing Jake right now.

You forgot to mention that you're not allowed to stand up and cheer at home football games, no matter what the fight song says. :D

If you knew ANYTHING about the Peppers saga, we could not even DISCUSS trades because he had not signed the franchise tender

Many should look at your comment right there. This is why we didn't get some good picks for the next Draft or at least the last one when we got Brown. If a team was going to give us some 1st round picks along with a talented vet, we would have traded Pep right away to them for that. Pep deserve the blame for that more than Hurney with how he wasn't sure if Pep was going to sign his tender or not that he was desperate to get a DE in Brown.

Yep. We have some good talents, but lack the execution. Hopefully a new coach will bring back the fire & make them play like they're suppose to be.

Hurney sure has some hiccups along the way with some of the contracts signing, but he sure pick some good players from the Draft. Guess one say that you have a love & hate feeling for him. :P

So were with the raiders, browns detroit because:

We have a bad qb ( which tons of teams have at times)

The health of a owner (Nothing to do with this)

Fired one of his empoyes (Happens, the other was already planning on leaving)

Our GM traded one first round pick and hasnt panned out so far ( To early to tell if brown was worth it)

Restructered a Qb contract for cap reasons

Where no where near a bad frachise. Were just a franchise who's going through a bad season. It happens to the best.

    • lol, that second part is quite literally one of the dumbest things ever. Having or not having guaranteed contracts has absolutely nothing to do with how much these billionaires have to pay.  Because there is a hard cap and a minimum cap spend requirement, and teams either use their cap or roll it over to use it all the next year, so the owners have to pay the same amount of money in the end no matter what. Having fully guaranteed contracts in the NFL would only hurt salary cap management, and thus would end up screwing over the team and its fan base when teams kiss on signings as they take up cap room that is needed to improve the roster. Look at the Browns with Watson, they gave him the fully guaranteed deal and all it’s doing is sucking up massive cap space now.  If they hadn’t done that, the owner would still be paying the same amount of money each year as that cap space would still be used elsewhere. If you want to argue for fully guaranteed contracts because the players deserve it, that’s an entirely different argument and a fair one to discuss.  But anyone against fully guaranteed deals isn’t doing it to argue for the billionaire owners.

    • Ryabkin could be the steal of the draft, he was a Top 10 pick heading into last season and had a rough year.  Lots of GMs passed on him because of that and his workouts. Pick has really high upside and Svech should be able to translate Rod tearing his arse a new one for making dumb plays since Svech has had several years of it.  🤣😂
