Hire Charlie Wies, fire Jeff DAvidson

Fire John Fox, get a NFL coach that can actually coach, and doesnt have an ego the size of Texas

Draft the best QB we can in the draft, get some WRs, and D-Lineman

Release Jake DElhomme, and just take the cap hit..

I can tell you now, that if Fox isn't here, Weis won't be either.

Explore available young quarterbacks in free agency or via trade for low round picks.

Draft a QB if no attractive options are available via free agency or trade.

Use one of our first three picks on a receiver.

Extend DWill and Kalil's contracts.

Resign Davis (franchise if necessary), Kenny Moore, Marshall, and Vincent.

Attempt to trade Pep. If no offers come, let him walk.

Let Hayden and Jeff King walk. (I'm torn on letting King walk)

*not commenting on coaching changes because I haven't made up my mind yet...

I think it is hilarious that some people actually thing Jerry Richardson is going to be that involved in this process. He isn't Jerry Jones or Dan Snyder. JR hired Danny Morrison to be the president of operations and he will be the one that decides what to do with Marty Hurney. Then the new GM or Hurney will then decide the fate of Fox and what players will be released and what positions and players will be targeted in the offseason.

This is a business and JR is a businessman. If one of his Bojanles was struggling do think JR is going to be walking into the resturant and start personally firing the cooks and cashiers and then also hire the new employees? No, the involement of an owner is on the top level. That person is then responsible for overseeing his managers, the managers are responsible for overseeing the supervisors and so on.

In reality, JR already made the move to change things back in August when he fired his sons and then hired Morrison. Now it is Morrison who will have to decide, knowing there is probably pressure coming from him from ownership, to make changes below him. IMO though, JR doesn't seem like the type of person who micro-manages and he will probably give Morrison a lot of control over the changes made this offseason.

Maybe a little sit down at the lake house with John and Marty. Well, um, actually they could make a pretty nice little Saturday out of it. They could go to Home Depot. Yeah, buy some wallpaper, maybe get some flooring, stuff like that. Maybe Bed, Bath, & Beyond. Who knows, who knows if they'll have enough time.

    • Jake in his prime was a gutsy QB. But just like with even someone like Cam. Father time is undefeated. It's very unfortunate we have a guy who is only 24 years old that has an equivalent arm to that. Absolutely blows my mind that our brain trust lacked the basic common sense to value arm talent when making a massive trade with ramifications for years to come. Unforgivable incompetence.
    • Jake, to me, will always hold a special place in my heart.  I really feel like for his era, he deserved way more love than he got, and should’ve had more than his one Pro Bowl.  He was a gamer with an underrated rocket arm. but let me tell you, after his Tommy John surgery, when he came back, I can’t remember who it was against, but it think it was a division game, he threw a ball that was supposed to be a throw away, as I think he was under pressure, and that poo floated forever and died right at the boundary where a defender ran over and picked it off.  One of the worst throws I ever saw.  His arm just wasn’t the same after the injury and surgery.  All that to say, that’s what almost every Bryce throw to the sidelines looks like to me.
    • And again, when watching him in college he had one distinct trait that I feel makes a franchise QB - on those plays when everything breaks down around him, he creates one on his own.  He doesn’t rely on or need everyone else.  That play last night on the final drive where he was getting sacked and threw it to Diggs before his knee hit the ground?  He does similar things all the time.  Mahomes, Allen, Lamar, etc., they all do it.  It’s what made Cam so special. but we picked a guy that’s the opposite of that.  He desperately needs someone else to make a play for him because he can’t.  Even that play yesterday on 4th down to Horn.  That wasn’t a great pass.  The defender was late and came down to make a play in the ball and Bryce threw it high and outside where Horn had to leave his feet and really use strong hands to catch it.  We relied on a 5’9” rookie playing in his first pro game to make THAT catch at THAT time bc of the early turnovers and a not great throw.  Crazy.
