If Jarrett misses the game?

the great defender of Fox's decision making.....

they don't know what Moore can do on Sunday's b/c he hasn't gotten legit reps to prove anything. Moore and Jarrett should both be getting more reps.....Moose is wasting reps right now. We KNOW what he can do and we know his time is over. Need to see if the potenital the other guys show means anything......or Fox can be Fox and be an idiot ......and you can continiously say anyone who questions the great Fox is stupid.

jarrett's not practicing this week. thats why he isn't getting reps with moore.

i think for kenny moore, jarrett, and martin, this is the best opportunity they are going to get all year. matt isn't going to sit back and wait like jake does for smith or moose to get open. he makes quicker decisions and gets rid of the ball quicker (probably a good thing since gross is out).

i don't care who it is that steps up, whether it's kenny moore, jarrett, martin, sutton, goodson, smith....as long as someone does.

I don't know much about Charly....

this is what they were saying heading into the draft

NEGATIVES: Possesses marginal playing speed, and does not get separation down the field. Should be a better blocker.

I'd rather see Moore and he has shown potential for being a WR and not a return man. If Fox wants a return man he should get one and stopping trying to find a hidden one......and ingoring there other potential if they don't meet that one need.

Wait... aren't they expecting both Moose and Jarrett to miss? So if Charly Martin is #3 that would make Kenny Moore #2, right?

Or am I missing something...?

Wouldn't surprise me if Fox sits DWILL, MOOSE, JARRETT for "Injuries" just to make Matt Moore put the weight of the team on his shoulders and fail

any reason why you didn't post all of it?

BIOGRAPHY: Three-year starter awarded all-Conference honors since his sophomore campaign. Also named to a number of all-America teams since 2006. Led the team in receiving as a senior, posting 95/1,867/22 after 67/927/11 as a junior, when he missed two games with a shoulder injury. Sophomore totals included 73/1,169/10.

POSITIVES: Sure-handed pass catcher with marginal size/speed numbers. Smart, tough, and fights to come away with the throw. Displays good focus, eye/hand coordination, and consistently extends to make the reception away from his frame. Gets up in a crowd for the difficult catch, displays himself to be a sturdy receiver, and takes a pounding yet holds onto the throw. Uses his frame to shield away opponents, nicely adjusts to the errant throw, and quickly transitions from making the reception to running after the catch.

NEGATIVES: Possesses marginal playing speed, and does not get separation down the field. Should be a better blocker.

ANALYSIS: Martin has been ultra-productive the past three seasons, and his reliability could help him catch on at the next level as a fifth receiver.

PROJECTION: Free Agent

here's more about him from the preseason...

WR Charly Martin

Martin has been the star of the preseason thus far, leading the team with six catches for 83 yards. He has shown the ability to find soft spots in the defense and make tough catches, drawing some comparisons to his mentor, Eric Parker.

Martin is viewed as a long-shot to make the active roster, although he's giving the Bolts brass a lot to think about. The team may be hesitant to lose another undrafted gem at the wide receiver position after seeing Wes Welker (New England Patriots) and Greg Camarillo (Miami Dolphins) go on to great success with other teams.
