AP: Panthers DTs might sit with injuries

Seriously, can somebody here name a top notch DT that the Panthers could have drafted without giving up the ability to draft Otah and Stewart? Anybody?

Hell, even the top two DT's in the draft haven't made that much of an impact so far, and there is no way we could have gotten either Ellis or Dorsey without trading up, which obviously wouldn't have been worth it.

The Panthers could be without both starting defensive tackles for Sunday's game at New Orleans, perhaps enticing the pass-happy Saints to run the ball.

We'll see....

I think "COULD BE" are the operative words here.

In NFL speak that means that we won't know for sure until gameday.

He will, whether or not he's 100%.

He'll pay off the medical staff if he has to.

That wouldn't be smart. We need him 100% in the postseason, not regular season. He could easily re-injure the ankle, and then we are screwed int he postseason whether we are the 2nd, or 5th seed. We can beat NO without him, we cant beat a good playoff team without him.

I was merely stating the importance of him and how it showed during the Giants game.

Thank you for taking my post way too seriously.

    • Hornets lead down to 16 early in the third.   Derrick White is single handedly keeping the Celtics in this game.
    • Looks like Miller is definitely grabbing his wrist out there.
