Keep Fields and get some dumb team to do what SF did for Lance.

got to wonder if the last QB trade ups are going to cause to outlandish offers to comeback down to Earth a tad.

I hope so. Outside of Andrew Luck few rookie qbs were worth 3 1s and potentially more. And Luck got hurt.....

Yeah there's no telling if Chicago can even get out of pick #1. Only real scenario I see would be if Colts wanna jump the Texans for a particular guy. If Chicago is forced to pick D I could then see a few teams hit up the Cards for the #3 pick including us

Also after the Super Bowl, the NFL machine will do its thing.  How the prospects are portrayed today will be viewed different in the coming months I suspect.  So we will have to see what it looks like then and who gets bumped and up down.

Yeah Young and Stroud probably aren't going to blow any minds at the combine with their physicality either.

    • It's crazy with how much winning was going on when we had a little cool off period that we're still just a couple games out of 6th. Moussa is getting better every week and Coby is getting comfortable. Would be nice to get to 6 but I think this team is a lot more stacked than the last couple play ins. I can't remember the exact rules but if you're 7th seed and win the first game I think you automatically move on and don't have to play the second game?
    • I think it was a thing for sure. Panthers weren’t too many people’s first choice. Or 5th choice.  2022 and 2023… coaches fired mid season. Consecutive years. You want any of that?  He has definitely overseen a rehab of how the Panthers are perceived. Because we are a place that is seen as up and coming. And just the little thing of he accommodated Theilen so graciously, that gets noticed. It all adds up. Dan is doing a lot of things right, probably most things.  Needs a good draft.
    • K, I think that is dumb, but you do you. I didn't find anything online that made him out to be a dislikable person. I am certain the Panthers would have cared so much if they lost your fandom if they hired Sean Payton. But bet you would have come crawling back if Sean lead us to a Super Bowl victory or Golden leads UNC to a champion ship. It is easy to say you are gonna leave a team if the hire someone you dislike when the chips are down. But people like you tend to come crawling back once the team finds success.
