we face brady, favre, manning and brees in the next 4 games and our defense just gave up 360+ passing to the rookie freeman! (sure, 4 pics due to poor decisions of an inexperienced QB but those other veterans won't make those throws.)

1-4.

new england has lost two in a row and will be very hungry at home next week. and us coming off a win over a 1-10 team and maybe have a little over inflated expectations, i'd say we're in trouble.

3-2. I have confidence in my team, not because of a win over a 1-10 team, but because the Turnover Machine isn't playing.

This team just needed someone who can throw a ball close enough that a receiver can actually catch it. That's all. A good passing attack must complement a good rushing attack for an offense to be good enough to win. One side of the attack cannot take all the weight against a good defense, lest that side of the offense crumble under the pressure. Once one side crumbles, the other follows. If the offense crumbles, the defense crumbles. It's how the game goes. All aspects of a team must complement and support each other for a team to win. A balanced team is a good team. Of course, you need good players for your team to be good. Turnover Machines (Delhomme, Freeman, and Warner, for good examples we have all seen in our games this season) lose games. So, yes, a team can very easily fall on the shoulders of one man...

    • Trade up for a project was dumb, he's gonna be 25 next month. By the time you're deciding on whether he's worth the 5th year option or a big contract you're already gonna be thinking about moving on soon either way.
    • I mean this is legit AF statement....you don't spend that draft capital on a project just like you don't trade up for an injured RB either, which was done in the same draft.  That draft IMO was a necessary evil for DM to learn from his mistakes (I think he did but some may not). Also I have to mention I'm a big Coker fan and think getting him as an UDFA was obv a steal.  Coker is the better WR2 at this point as Legette and its not even debatable unfortunately.  Give him year 3 but don't expect much from him.  Continue in the offseason with adding as much talent and competition on the roster as possible including WR.  Or just trade his ass for peanuts and continue to build roster by any means.......
    • Losing him was a huge loss. Look at how the Bears went from a 5 win team to now a 11 win team. The Lions offensive line is bad this year, secondary is bad and Campbell going for it on 4th down all the time has cost them games instead of taking the Field Goals. Goff is inconsistent as well.
