I get what your saying as far as the game goes, but as far as his position on the depth chart and # of starts - I don't put a lot of weight in that considering how long Jake was starting in front of him this year.

Because Fox thought Jake had the best shot at playing well.

While you can say Moore cant do worse then Jake. Moore also has not proven he can play as well as Jake best even for this season.

Granted there still are alot more games. Well get a much better idea as the more Moore plays.

BUMP for today... I really hope he leaves on his own accord, b/c what was the point in handcuffing Moore after the streak of games he's had recently??? None, other than making a point that he's not your guy next year... If Fox doesn't leave, fully expect to see Jake as the starter again.

He didn't let him loose b/c after the TD to Jarrett he knew everybody was thinking, "Wow, Jake didn't do that in 3 years..." He didn't want to be shown up and shut Moore down. Jackass...

I thought it was a slap in the face to the fans that spent money to sit in the cold and watch their team play. It was obvious Fox didn't want to run up the score on his friend. I'm sure the folks that sat there in the sub freezing temperatures really enjoyed the 20 draw plays in a row in the second half.

If you want a douchy coach who leaves in staters to pad stats, you need to start rooting for the Gators.

I really don't give a damn about running up the score, just shows more of Fox's softness, I want to see more of Moore, Moore, Jarrett, Goodson, and the other backups that are playing for jobs, they worked their asses off all year the least he could do is let them try to show their talent if not for the Panthers than for a possible job somewhere else next year, Fox can give that smug little Payton a reach around later

Regardless of your opinion of Coach Fox, that statement is pure projection of what you want to believe. Think about what you are saying there.

Having pointed that out, I do agree with this:

You destroy divisional opponents, you don't coddle them.

      He's not wrong though. You talk like a politician on here. Leaving yourself just enough wiggle room to say you never fully counted Bryce out if you need to....But we can all see it. Just say you think he is a bust outright and you will have to type a lot less. Obfuscating your opinion behind QB3 competitions etc....

      Most EVs are in the 90+ e-MPG meaning some measurement house somewhere compares the EV to a similar ICE model and works out how much is costs to charge (on average) versus fill up as a point of comparison. Talking long term, in the hundreds of thousands of miles?  No clue.  Some early signs are that EV batteries maintain 80% charge over 400k miles.  So there's that.   The challenge and charm of an ICE vehicle is being able to park it under a tree, get your jack stands out and tinker with your engine.  There's just not that same level of complexity in an EV.  I saw someone estimate there are 200 or so moving parts in an EV, and 2000 in an ICE vehicle.  I'm not a part counter so I can't really speak to that. I think that the EV is more the future than any type of combustion engine.  Those will still be around in specific purposes, but for most people - an EV will be the superior option in terms of efficiency.  I say that as someone who loves stupid horsepower numbers out of turbo 4 bangers and inline 6s...  I am one of those tinkers when I can be. A bigger issue for EVs is going to be the ownership versus lease.  Right now, there are INSANE leases on EVs, which is great, but what do you have at the end of that lease?  Nada, maybe some equity if you're lucky.  Where as I'm almost done paying for my car, and plan to keep it until the wheels fall off (or my son wrecks it when he starts to drive).  Will EV makers do the smartphone thing and build in planned obsolesce?  Stop updating software?  I love the tech in EVs, and I think getting more cars and trucks off the road is a good thing.  But I am still just a little concerned.  Capitalism has gotten far too extractive.
