LG - is that a snowshoe siamese ?  I had one that adopted me  and I had him for 18 years - he was my buddy and was very vocal.  Currently I have two orange tabby's.

He's a ditch kitty. His mom is jet black. His dad looks just like him. He very rarely utters a peep. Our orange tabby is a month younger and is very vocal. They're both big cats. The white one is 10 months and the orange one is 9 months. White one is 12 pounds and the orange one is 13 pounds.

So, this ditch kitty is completely obsessed with running water. Turn on a sink anywhere in the house and he'll come running even if he was fast asleep to try to drink the running water and slap at it. He will try to get into the shower with you. He is also all about climbing into your chest when you're lying in bed and laying all up in your face. Orange kitty wants to snuggle up beside you, ditch kitty wants to lay on you and all up in your face.

Another one showed up a few days ago. We have some feral cats around but they act like legit wildcats (obviously since that's where the first kitty came from). Rarely seen and won't let you get within 50 yards of them. This kitten was not feral. Immediately came up to us, rubbing on our legs, willing to be picked up, not afraid of dogs, etc. It was super skinny so we started feeding it and it has hung around. It's already starting to fill back out. Since it hung around I busted out one of the dog crates to put it in at night with all the owls and coyotes around. I don't think the poor guy has felt safe enough to get a good sleep in weeks. I opened the door this morning and he hasn't left the crate yet. Still sleeping. Gave it flea and tick treatment yesterday and gonna run over and grab some dewormer for it here in a bit.

Can't no new box come in this house that this cat don't claim it as his new home. You can barely get the goods out of the box before he's in it. LOL

I know he's not a ragdoll because I found him in a ditch and his mom was jet black but good grief, he looks just like a pure ragdoll blue eyes and all.

Pretty cat.  And I wouldn't say that just cause you found him in a bad spot he can't be a rag doll or other high bred type.  Cats can be notorious for getting themselves lost from their original owners and as you know not all owners are deserving of their pets either - My snowshoe siamese was about the prettiest cat I've ever seen,  blue eyes and all and he just wandered in one winter looking for a home, half starved,  as a full grown adult.  Have you had yours checked for a chip ?

No, I mean I know he isn't because his mom was jet black. He's definitely not chipped because he was literally days old when I found him abandoned. She moved the nest and left him. The vet estimated him to be two, maybe three days old at most.

    • Just another 1st round QB that never paid off for the team that drafted them or traded for them. It's been like this since the SB began. 36 QBs have now won the SB & only 13 of them have been 1st rounders winning with their original team. Namath 1968, Griese 1972, Bradshaw 1974, McMahon 1985, Simms 1986, Aikman 1992, Elway 1997, Roethlisberger 2005, P.Manning 2006, E.Manning 2007, Rodgers 2010, Flacco 2012, & Mahomes 2019. Only 3 have taken longer than 5 seasons as the starter to win a SB.  4  6  5  4  6  4  15  2  9  4  3  5  2 [the years it takes for these 1st round QBs] 5  1  4  1  3  1  1  2  3  4  [10 of the 36 have won a chip with their 1st team that haven't been drafted in the 1st round. These are the years it took them as a starter] What stands out? Only 2 of these QBs have lost their first championship appearance. Elway took 4 years as a 1st rounder & Hurts took 2 years as a 2nd rounder. Of the 10 non-1st round QBs, 2 are 2nd rounders, 3 are 3rd rounders, 5 are 6th rounders or later. Please stop wasting time on drafting 1st round QBs with such a high failure rate. The remaining 13 QBs are traded or free agent signings. Stafford, Favre, Young, Williams and Dawson are the 5 trades. Peyton Manning & Tom Brady also won for teams as free agents on a short stay as well as being drafted. The lesson here is don't waste your franchise on farming up 1st rounders for the league, and steer clear of trading for a franchise QB. Stick to finding that championship QB by drafting them outside of the 1st round or through free agency.
    • I lost most of the respect I had for Fox in 2010. He should have resigned if he hated the job that much. Instead he stuck for his paycheck and let stuff go to hell.    I burned out on Ron too but my deal breaker issue with him was away from football and after he was gone from the Panthers. He may have been out of his depth but never quit on us.
    • From where they were one year ago to now, pretty incredible. I mean, say what you want about Vrabel he is no Jerrod Mayo.
