Don't know what dropoff there would be without Otah for run/pass blocking.

I can say what the Huddle would say about Flacco after yesterday's game, though (these are taken from the Ravens board):

Absolutely no excuse for this guy. I'm so sick of hearing about how strong his arm is, yet he constantly underthrows recivers week after week. He's become a cancer to us.
Only a sophomore slump. Calm down guys.
Ridiculous play out of flacco downright maddening I love the ravens but this is one lackadaisical team on offense seem to lack a sense of urgency flacco play in the clutch was horrible
Its only his second year. Joe will learn from this performance.
I want Kyle Boller back. Laugh all you want, but I think he'd be better. He never got a chance with this new offense. Don't even bring up the Rams, they are a qb cemetary, no matter who you put in.
Pack it up for the season Flacco you ****!!!!!!
Look people, the offense had a horrible night and Flacco had one of his worst games of his career and you can't say that this loss shouldn't fall on the young QB's shoulders but some of the crap that has been saids about Flacco tonight just is wrong and really doesn't belong here.

all we'd really lose is the run blocking. Otah is an average pass blocker

Well, the Ravens are paying a steep price for Flacco's 'sophomore blues' this year. But at least he has the opportunity to HAVE the sophomore blues, because on this team, he probably wouldn't get a look at! And given how Jake has never learned how to look his receivers off, why would anyone think that our current crop of coaches could develop Flacco, or anyone else for that matter?

Why would you want to take away our draft history, Stewart and Otah are beasts and make double trouble what it is today. We are lucky to have two excellent backs who compliment each other great(Stewart is the big bruiser and Dwill is the speedy one) and a good run blocking o-line.

makes no sense to me

Because it is really easy to look back and say "Oh,they should have done this or that." and it makes people feel smart. When in all reality just about everyone would have freaked the fug out if we would have taken Flacco 13th overall.

Yeah, he has panned out but the general consensus was that Flacco might go low 1st most likely high 2nd and the only reason he would go that high was the class was weak. He was thought of as a project by most. Tall kid with the big arm who played DII ball.

    • I read an article a few days ago that places like Seattle green bay and a few others are revoking tickets rights to holders that sell 100% of their tickets. That would do a lot of good league wide for bringing back some home field advantages. We aren't the only team who's stadiums get over run by visitors. It happens basically everywhere. That would go a long way to bringing ticket costs down
    • yeah, you can basically copy and paste my thoughts from this time last year.   We are building an O more suited for Jake Delhomme than Bryce Young.  Tmac and XL sound great for the downfield gunslinger  Give them opportunities to make plays.  From what I have seen, and the scouting stuff I have read.....TMac does not project as a get open quick WR.  He is going to have to work on getting off the line at this level, getting open, etc.  Which is all good.  This you go to think people will be studs out the gate or you are hater logic just ain't what I do.   Take my XL stance last year.  I lobbied hard for him.  When we drafted him I immediately told folks to pump their breaks on the wild expectations.    If XL legitimately turned into what I think he can be.....his best setup in the league would not be paired w/ a QB like Young.  if Bryce was going to be the dude, I would have lobbied for Ladd vs XL.  I was an XL guy.   And again, I would have gone Warren/Jeanty this draft.   I would have invested in small ball talent for him to be the PG for.
    • @TheBigKatare you going to Arizona? I'm thinking about making a road trip again. Haven't venture out since we got spanked in Miami a couple years ago
