from the games I saw this season they had a decent defense but since there offense was so bad they end up giving up big plays being worn out..

Plus I would love for us to get Corey Williams next year.

their offense is absimal. QB play is horrid. b/f i blamed Quinn's surroundings, but he overthrew so many passes it was ridiculous.

Does everybody still admire Tomlin for saying all the right things to the press a few days ago? Like I said then, words mean nothing if you can't back them up with actions. Tomlin is struggling and I don't see and end in sight. Hell, even John Fox hasn't lost 5 games in a row this year and I'm almost positive he could beat the Browns.

Hell, maybe Bill Cowher really is what the Panthers need though, because he's the one who built Tomlin's super bowl team.

It was, with wind chill, -10 degrees!!! Quinn didn't wear gloves!!! Even if you grew up there, it would be difficult to hang onto that ball to throw it right. I suggest he rethink the glove thing. Even Peyton would've had a problem throwing in those conditions. Give the kid a break. :toetap05:

Cribbs was simply amazing. :cheers2:

    • Doubling tripling and quadrupling down on this subject in defense of the pick is reminiscent of a certain mindset that has overtaken the political world. This conversation will become less contentious and dragged out to the point of becoming a dead beaten horse if rational minds can simply agree that we made a mistake missed on a potential franchise center and we will learn from it. All this coping is unnecessary.
    • Here in lies the rub that the supporting posters continue to ignore. He wasn’t a 2nd round pick in the 2025 class, especially with an ACL tear. It was a dumb pick for any GM who looks ahead to determine values. C and CB were much better values than an injured RB in 2024. If a RB isn’t even playing much in 2024, you have to compare him to 2025. We’re beating a dead horse but only because the defense of the pick is almost comical at this point. We’ve made a ton of poo picks and moves/non trades while Morgan was GM and the assistant GM. It happens, we don’t have to jump through hoops to act like we just had some really bad luck. The 2025 draft class is unknown so far but damn it felt way better afterwards for the first time in a long time. Embrace the potential and stop stamping guaranteed on the box of poo of the 2018-2024 drafts. We are were we aware because of them and 2025 has to hit so we can get past the 7 win max in 7 year hurdle. Also, “flashed his talent” isn’t 9 carries for 22 yards. His one reception for 18 yards isn’t a flash with 11 other touches for 27 yards. He hasn’t proven anything. We have no idea if he’ll contribute in 2026.
    • Oh for those tired of the Mannings I have bad news, Peytons son Marshal already has college teams after him and he isn't even in HS until this fall...   I'd wager we have two Mannings in the NFL in 2030
