Worst Officiated Game I've Seen in a While

I hate when sore losers blame the refs. Sure, there was a questionable call here or there but the nine penalties for 92 yards were because we played like trash.

I get this, but, it is always against the Patriots and Cowboys that this BS happens. A bit to convenient for the NFL IMHO.

I still say the refs had little to do with the outcome. Did the Pats even punt in the second half?

Didnt need too because there O-line was holding all game. Just let the Brady to Welker work all the way down the field.

Fact: only 1 holding call was made and that was on us......

not really a sore loser, yes we played like crap and if our offense had been able to move the ball more probably would have been a different outcome. however, the pats were gifted a couple of early christmas presents with those calls. just call it like i see it. doesnt make me a sore loser...actually at 5-8 being sore loser is kinda out of the question

I was following this game on the internet. When we reached 9 penalties they finally called a couple on New England. It almost appeared that they would even out the numbers some.

The one that drove me crazy was the roughing the kicker. Was that an accurate call? IMO of all the penalties this was the most damning. We would have had the ball and a chance to go down the field and tie the game. Once that penalty hit it was Game Over.

No it was not even close, that was running into the kicker. Roughing the kicker has to be a blatant attempt to hit the punter, Brown's momentum from trying to block merely took him into the punter.

    • Happy they won convincingly instead of letting them hang around. Montreal is cooked, and rather than play hockey, they've decided to take some really cheap shots at guys. I get a player may feel a need to set the tone, and I understand how that works. But to 2-hand cross check someone intentionally in the face, to have a guy down on the ice and put his head into the ice with a stick, to just start punching anyone who gets within arm's reach- that's not setting the tone. That is nothing short of playing dirty.  That said, the Canes.... oh boy. They could have run this score to 6-0 with half a power play. It's embarrassing how bad the PP is. If the Canes go to the Cup finals against a team who scores at least 1 goal per game on the PP, they'll lose the close games because of the lack of results on the PP.
    • Because he knows they are winning the cup. And I fully support his decision.
    • After Brindamour figured out how to stop that stupid behind the net offense setup Montreal did in Game 1 they’ve been dead to rights. They don’t have an answer and the series is over. I hope Canes fans relentlessly torment Carter Hart about being a rapist so we can win our second cup
