Today's Loss

i think the main cause for the loss was the lack of a 2nd or 3rd wide receiver that can stretch the field. the panthers offense is built on yards per carry and yards per catch. smith is the only player who was able to make plays down the field, this team needs a guy who will stretch the field out.

of course the panthers have needed this since 2005 but haven't even remotely tried to find it other than drew carter.

It's hard for me to single out Ron Meeks. I mean, look at what he has to work with. This was the 13th different starting defensive line up of the season for the Panthers, and at least he is getting them to create turnovers. If the offense had made the plays that were there, they could have won this game.

Jeff Davidson and John Fox really pissed me off today though. poo, the time to coach conservatively was over at least a couple of weeks ago, and Davidson's offense didn't seem to have a clue what they were supposed to do half the time.

So true... i guess k. moore wasn't the answer because he gets no playing time

Taking a look at goodson in the passing game is not an option either. Davidson is not a good OC at all. We need one who's good at both aspects
