Not sure if this has been discussed yet, I searched to no avail to find a similar thread, so...

If we manage to beat the Giants this Sunday we will have successfully avenged all our 2008 losses.

Minnesota - Check

Tampa Bay - Check

Atlanta - Check (well, half avenged I suppose)

Arizona - Check

New York - TBD

A small measure of success/pride can be achieved Sunday on a largely disappointing season, but it would be nice to see nonetheless.

depends, if we lose John Fox's hole becomes much more deeper (no pun intended)..BUT if we win and play spoiler to Giants it would equally be as satisfying.

1) Carolina wins out

2) Dallas completely bombs in the first round of the playoffs

3) New Orleans also completely bombs in its first playoff game

Not true. If the G-Men lose this game, they can still beat Dallas for the last wildcard spot if Dallas loses its last 2 games to Washington and Philly.
