Good sign for saints, about to be 3 losses in a row and your players are getting arrested right before the playoffs.

NEW ORLEANS -- New Orleans police say that Saints defensive end Bobby McCray has been arrested and charged with driving while intoxicated and other counts.

Police spokesman Gary Flot says McCray was stopped by an officer who saw him speeding about 4:30 a.m. Tuesday. He was booked into Orleans Parish Prison on charges of driving while intoxicated, speeding, careless operation of a motor vehicle and not having his vehicle registration with him.

Flot says McCray did not resist.

A Saints spokesman says team officials are aware of the situation and will let the legal process take its course.

McCray's attorney, Donald Foret, said he planned to talk to McCray later Tuesday and did not comment further.

Panthers had a player arrested this season, too. Though I highly doubt McCray will get out of a DUI.

Beason was innocent of the crime though. The guy try to fight him, so it was his fault first not Beason.

And at least Beason didn't try to get drunk & then drive. He too good to do that kind of crap.

McCray has a grand total of 10 tackles and 1.5 sacks for the whole year. I would only be worried if either Will Smith or Charles Grant got injured and McCray was unavailable.

Louisiana actually has very strict laws for DWI's. I doubt he would be suspended before he is convicted anyway.

And he was let out with no bond after a matter of minutes and all charges were dropped.

This is the big difference, All charges were dropped because of the Dbag who alleged them is a tool

Just pointing out the facts before the Saints fans do. An arrest is an arrest. But clearly McCray will not get out of this without discipline from the law and the league.

Jarrett didn't get disciplined for his DUI did he? I don't think the leauge did anything. They probably didn't bother to suspend him since he's so irrelevant on the field anyway.

    • And, yes, I've been a slow boil, but watching continually watching shitty displays of football for weeks has me frustrated.
    • Bryce just didn't maximize Hunter Renfrow's skills. ***rant incoming*** But this isn't just about Bryce Young mistiming passes to Renfrow so bad that he's going to get Renfrow killed or hurt, this is also about incompetentence by Dave Canales. Renfrow can still play. He's putting DBs in a blender out there---making them play twister at the top of routes to keep up with him, and dumb Dave has the nerve to cut him. How about putting Hunter in the best position to help the damned offense by appreciating his skill set, DC? You're letting Bryce's apparent inability to make an accurate throw, or at least his timidity to push the ball down the damned field cloud your judgment and miscalculate talent---or maybe just miss on talent just as much as Bryce misses passes due to playing pussified football. It's fúcking unacceptable.  Speaking of misjudgment, I don't know if it's Dan Morgan or Canales, but Eijiro Evero is not the business at DC. I have said a few times that his scheme is not conducive to run-stopping efficiency. Hell, and after watching some clips of plays, now I absolutely know why. The gaps are at least half open before the play even fúcking starts. You are setting the opposition's RBs up for success with too much damned space at the line and in the second level. If our guys are taken out in these areas---at the line and in the second level---then the defense is screwed because it must rely on the safeties to cover too much ground to make the tackle. At least put Ransom in who is motivated to seek and destroy if you're going to effectively leave the safeties on an island.  And speaking of rookies, get our two new defensive ends more snaps to see if we can't generate more of a pass rush. For all the good the continued sorry display of defense that you're putting out for fan's to see (Ejiro, Dave and Dan), you may as well get the rookies generously involved. Fúck that money we gave second-rate (maybe second-rate) vets, we need a damned spark getting after the QB. Watch it, it's just another breakdown of the sh¡t we were subjected to last week. I say this with all respect: Fúck you, Dave! Fúck you, Dan! Learn how to run a fúcking franchise. Maximize the players, regardless of what you think you're supposed to do by the book. Cut the dead weight before another season is lost and fans lose interest in September. EE is "Ew!" Or for emphasis "EEw!" /end rant
    • But nobody is saying he is a good deep ball passer.  But the facts are since he's returned from his benching, he has been throwing downfield.  Whether you want to credit the scheme, Bryce himself, or whatever, he has been pushing it deep.  Not to any positive results mind you, but it has been happening.
