I think Fox is leaving

I'm still straddling the fence on Fox. He does make me so damn mad at times, but I am not to thrilled about the idea of all the juggling of positions, and the rebuilding process it takes to get a smooth running operation again either. Change doesn't always mean for the better, but I guess you never know till you leap into the wind and just do it.

That usually takes time, and I want us good NOW, and forever. Maybe I'm just greedy and selfish. :(

I'm riding the same train and it's heading towards a tunnel.

i was thinking this when we started seeing what he was doing with the team. what i saw at training camp and what others saw during OTAs....instant respect. he was very hands on and commanded the respect of everyone.

i have to admit to doubting for a while when i saw the struggles the defense was having early on but since the guys got it i'm back on board with the idea.

I agree he seems to have a handle on the defense but I would like to see an offense minded coach my self. We've tried the defense thing long enough for me. Let's but points on the board:)

I'm on board with the more points, but it appears in with the play calling in the last two games that Fox has taken a hands off approach. No way in the beginning of season we would have thrown the ball on 3rd and long. Well maybe those were Jake calls?

    • I presented that scenario because this is a home game and we seemed to have improved in some capacity in that area as of recently. The problem with the possibility of sweeping the Bucs is this team has had a habit of quickly falling victim to momentum shifts. The Bucs are coming off a bitter loss the same as the Panthers but the Bucs have a much better proven track record this time of year and they have performed when the pressure is on unlike our Panthers. We have a shot against the Seahawks here in BOA but that is a matchup that could quickly get out of hand because they are a well coached team and that goes back to the momentum shifts I mentioned. I just don't see this team beating the Bucs in their stadium to close the season. Tall order to say the least.
    • I’d give it another year for Sanders and Evans, I don’t much care what you do with Tremble’s spot. Let him have another year or maybe replace him. Haven’t looked at his contract so that may be the determining factor.
    • Following the crazy up down pattern we finish 9-8 with an improbable sweep of TB, and lay an egg in the home playoff game.  I don’t know if I can sign on to sweeping TB but I suppose it’s possible, they aren’t really that good this year.    ps I can buy beating TB Sunday and losing to Seattle.  Then it just gets to can you fluke one game. Any given Sunday. So we’ll see.
