The next head coach of the Carolina Panthers could be ...

Yeah, Julius is a mystery. Fiz, when you made your thread about him he was playing some of the worst football I've seen a starting player play in the NFL.

He's been on fire lately. If he can play this well on a semi-regular basis, he's worth a huge deal. I hate him, personally. He's like Fox. The minute I want to embrace him and be 110% behind him he makes me hate him by not trying or just being flat out terrible. Thats' what I don't like him lol

I wonder if Peppers saw the writing on the wall about Jake and decided to move on. What if his whole reason for wanting out of Carolina was Jake. Now that Moore is in and doing well, he's starting to warm up to being a Panther. If sure if the Panthers give any indication that Jake will get another shot fighting for the starting job, he'll bounce.

But this is all just a thought. Who the hell knows what is really going on in his head.

Jangler or someone said this best.

"When Peppers smacked Matt's helmet after his touchdown leading drive" It was clear that was the most emotion, and intensity I have ever seen from Peppers.

ironically enough these past two weeks have been Peppers most dominating weeks and this Defense as whole.

/thread derailment :driving:

Someone should give Pep a lie detector test & see what his results are! :P

This makes a lot of sense actually. He has been coaching in the NFL for 22 years. And every where he goes has a great running game (check out that bio). As long as he left the current staff coach there respective units and doesn't micro mange I would be fine with this.

    • Trade up for a project was dumb, he's gonna be 25 next month. By the time you're deciding on whether he's worth the 5th year option or a big contract you're already gonna be thinking about moving on soon either way.
    • I mean this is legit AF statement....you don't spend that draft capital on a project just like you don't trade up for an injured RB either, which was done in the same draft.  That draft IMO was a necessary evil for DM to learn from his mistakes (I think he did but some may not). Also I have to mention I'm a big Coker fan and think getting him as an UDFA was obv a steal.  Coker is the better WR2 at this point as Legette and its not even debatable unfortunately.  Give him year 3 but don't expect much from him.  Continue in the offseason with adding as much talent and competition on the roster as possible including WR.  Or just trade his ass for peanuts and continue to build roster by any means.......
    • Losing him was a huge loss. Look at how the Bears went from a 5 win team to now a 11 win team. The Lions offensive line is bad this year, secondary is bad and Campbell going for it on 4th down all the time has cost them games instead of taking the Field Goals. Goff is inconsistent as well.
