"24" season 8

Really about Elisha - shes looking a little rough but I guess she's a mommy now so...

The woman who plays Chloe is actually a comedienne, she's pretty funny - I think that the reason they have her is that her oddball character helps distract viewers from the implausibility of what she does with the computers.

Katee Sackhoff does have a killer body there, but how the hell does she manage to get her job six months after whatever it is she did that she needed a new identity?

I think that FBI chick is coming on, but if history repeats itself, I will be dropping out over the next few episodes, although my fiancee is pushing for this to be a "us time" show...

About Sackhoff... you know that they always throw some personal drama into the plot and use it later... pretty silly I think.

I'm the same way... I haven't completely finished a season since like season 3... they just end up dragging it out too much.

While 24 may be entering its final contractural year, iF caught up with Fox Entertainment President Kevin Reilly to find out if any talks have happened about securing the show for a Ninth Year renewal.

"It’s the last contractual year, but creatively, it’s a very vibrant this year," says Reilly. "I’m very thrilled with this season. The reception will be very positive from an audience standpoint. We collectively said, 'let’s let it launched, get into Spring and sit down and talk about it.'"

Reilly adds that it's in Spring that writers will have to break stories for next season, so that's the latest they could make a decision.

"I certainly know Kiefer loves and would continue to do it," says Reilly. "But it's such a hard show to produce [for the producers], that we're going to let them finish [this season] and regroup."

Geez I can't believe this show is still on. I stoped watching years ago after it was already dull and repititive. I mean really, how many times can Jack Baur save the world?

I'd rather watch a marathon of Hannah Montanna.

pedophile!!

just kidding :D

  • 1 month later...

is 24 boring anyone else? it's not the same anymore.....

Agree. I thought it was just me who felt like something was missing this season. The past couple were pretty good though. This season it's crappy sub-stories, no race against time, and an unlikable cast. Feels like I'm watching a soap-opera, if anything.
