BoA: Do they allow DSLRs in the stadium?

yes.

I've seen white lenses in the stands, but I've heard it depends on what you get at the gate. My suggestion would be to have a long lens that's not conspicuous, if you have it. No real reason to take a shorter lens in.

eh, ive got a 70-200L, but wasnt wanting to take/deal with that. Im not interested in game shots. Ive got a pregame field pass and was hoping i could get by with a 50mm. Its really not a big deal and may just take a P&S

thanks though

for pregame? Sure, you could suffice with a 50. But, you could easily fit a 50 in your pocket and mount something else to the camera and switch on the fly.

true...id just hate for them to say it wasnt allowed. then have to figure out what to do with it....but Im thinking more about it. Im sitting 7th row in corner endzone. Might be some decent shots.

Dude-- take it-- you will be happy--

I took my 55 & 300- got them both in.. I EVEN carried the bag.. You can carry a bag in, the lady didnt even bother me...

If I was you though, I would wear your Saints Jersey under your shirt and have a panther bennie on...

I know if i was working the door I would be a dick and make you carry it back to your car :P

    • Pretty sure that a QB contract payday is all the competition any QB in this league needs, I don't think a competent backup is going to make them play any harder when the current situation wouldn't warrant the contract extension yet anyways. Your opening point in this post is also the problem, "Bryce has shown signs of improving", but that's still all he's shown, and he's only showing that because of just how bad he was to start his career. If he played like last season from the beginning and never improved one bit, then I actually think more fans would be ready to move on from him, which is what's weird.  It's like going from one of the biggest draft busts of all time into the 25th best QB in the league over 3 years means he deserves a long term $40+ million a year contract extension. Improvement shouldn't be the goal when the result of said improvement is still bottom of the league levels.
    • Yeah, but we've seen him do it. Just not often. I think that's the reason for the taller WRs. Would likely be a problem finding someone like Jimmy Horn in the mess.
    • And the Rams, Seattle, Patriots, Green Bay, Jaguars and the Bills who all made the playoffs and in case you forgot, Seattle and the Patriots played in the SB. By any measure, that's pretty brutal.
