John Fox vs. Jack Del Rio

Based on the recent talks about Jack Del Rio going to USC, I decided to compare Fox and Del Rio's head coaching career. (Note: Fox has coached 1 more year than Del Rio)

Jack Del Rio: 57-55 (.509)

Career Post Season:

John Fox: 5-3 (.625)

Jack Del Rio: 1-2 (.333)

John Fox has had 2 1st place finishes, Jack Del Rio none. Jack Del Rio in the last 2 season has finished in last place, John Fox has managed a 1st and a 3rd.

John Fox has been to 2 Conference Championship games and 1 Super Bowl, Jack Del Rio none.

Now everyone on the Jaguars board is calling for Del Rio's head, and a lot of people on this board have been calling for John Fox's head. The funny thing is if people were asked if they'd prefer Del Rio over John Fox, I think there would be a resounding yes. So if Del Rio was offered to be the head coach over here, what would you guys say??

No. He's not as good of an NFL HC as Fox is. He's an excellent defensive coordinator, but Fox is better as a head coach for sure. I liked Jack when he was here, but no thank you.

del rio is a less successful john fox. why would we remove fox to replace him with fox jr.?

You also must consider that Del Rio has been in the same conference with Indy for a while. Can't really blame them for not finishing first when you have to outgun Manning.

it's worth consideration but there's really no excuse. The Titans have had plenty of success with the colts around.
