Ive rooted for the Panthers for 15 years who've never had a black head coach or a black QB. From Frank Reich on down to Matt Moore I've pulled for em all baby. Your pride wont allow you to cheer on our hometown Bobcats because their owner is a black man. I agree that the timing and handling of the coaching changes sounds like it was made outside of Furney.

THIS is the main reason it will be hard to stomach another year or MORE! of Foxie. He is likable...I want to root for him...but he seems way too passive in his decision making, blindly loyal despite on field results and afraid to evolve in the ever changing NFL.

Crossman should have been a no brainer move from the moment the season ended...the fact that the business decision is blurred by friendship and loyalty shows that winning is not held above all else.

I think thats what most on here hate about Fox(those that hate him)...Although Cowher(ugh) is a run first, conservative coach he seemed to hold everyone accountable and would cut or put in a backup player quickly. That is the difference. Gantt is right and it sounds like even apologists for Fox are having their patience:smash: tested.

As for the topic of Gannt on Fox...I have said previously that I would fire Fox. In fact, I would bring in Leslie Frazzier as the head coach. Not because of his race, but because I think he is a young, agressive, and brilliant coach.
