"Big deal" IS the problem.

Seems to be the only time he wants to talk. What is hard to understand about that part of it? MONEY........yes....I will talk for money, only this time I won't be as stupid as I was last year kinda "BIG DEAL".

Nothing hard to see, or understand about that.

Shows no loyalty to the team that thought enough to put him on their team, and bring him into this league. Sure, some other team would have done it as well...but where is his heart, and loyalty? Players each and every year speak up for the teams they are on. I don't see his loyalty to this team with a statement like that.

Contract.....we talking bout contract!

He wants to get a contract that works out well for him whether thats with us or with another team. Therefore he isn't and shouldn't be taking sides either way. Whats so wrong about that? What if he showed support with the Panthers, but then signed with another team? People would be bitching about that too.

I say you put your mark in the sand, and show where you stand, not be a sissy whining ass. He knows where he want's to be, or doesn't want to be, period.

I mean this is getting as old as the Favre sh!t.

Why is everybody so quick to dismiss somebody being an ass for more money? Have you taken a look around at this world lately? Oh..."it's just business." When are men gonna start being men again, instead of fighting for every single dollar they can to be one up on the next guy.

I say honor first, but to each his own. :cheers2:

Because it isnt about money with Pep. He could've signed a contract to be the highest paid DE in the league 2 years ago but he didnt. He just wants a contract that gives him the best term(length) with a team. Last season he said he's willing to sign a long term contract with us (I guess that would be loyalty to you there). So we have a good chance of signing him back.

So I guess you would be one of the ones bitching if he did put his mark in the sand with the side of the Panthers, but later signed with another team. His contract is up and he's playing in the gray area, which is where any player should when they reach the end of their contract.

KK.............what part of poo or get off the pot did you not gather in my last post? What part of he knows what he want's to do, or not. Is it so hard to say, I WANT TO REMAIN A PANTHER, and will do whatever it takes to help this team???? You are arguing that he is looking for the best deal for him.

Business....all about the Benji's! Fine.........wear another uniform, let someone know, poo, or get off the pot in other words. Not that hard to do, unless you end up in a Lethal Weapon Movie scenario.

;)

What part of "if he chooses a side, he could do something different later" do you not understand?

    • Varying degrees all around but it starts at the top. That is where the buck stops. It has been 8 years of stupid, long before Morgan came back. Or Tillis was hired. Made it to the top of stupid mountain in 2023. Stayed in stupid limbo for a while, now we are prepping to scale the next mountain. In this case, I like those guys’ roster building better than what we have had so I am okay with them as our current pawns in the game of Bryce.
    • Don't let me gas him up too much, but I hear this and that...... I seen a wide body man with a quick burst, that's able to shed blocks and if extends his long arms its over. He tore up the OL in the senior, you seen about 10 plays and the dog walking OLman. There's other plays of him doing the same, just have to deal with fetus talking over the plays. Plus there's this-  https://x.com/PFF_College/status/2018385471068332410?lang=en     I hope he's ready, cause Id like to see him starting and doing his thang with dbrown, nic, and Phillips.
    • I mean there is relevance to that. But I think much of it has to do with the fact that he is clearly likeable. But does that translate to a coach taking his position to the next level like those that have had staying power for many years like Spoelstra? And not for nothing but does how much someone is liked even matter? Across leagues with the Panthers Ron Rivera and Marty Hurney were universally well liked by players. Dave Canales is very well liked. I say you are what your record says. And the record says you got your ass handed to you by a fellow expansion team in the Magic in a game that was over at halftime and that same team went toe to toe with our nemesis who has been handing us L's for over a year now. And if Bam doesn't get his leg swept by LaMelo do we even get past the Heat? Again. It just all boils down to personal standards. I think newer and younger fans will love this. I just want to actually win a real playoff game fam 🤷‍♂️
