Yep and CMC having the Diggs breakaway capability makes Allen think a dump off to CMC could be big. His biggest issue IMHO isn’t just turnovers but not just taking a 4 yard play on 3rd and 3. If you have confidence in your RB and know he could take it to the house, that simple play is no longer “just a dump off”, it’s a get the ball into Diggs like hands to let them make a huge play.

Look at what CMC has done for Purdy. I watched a few games last year and CMC opened up the middle of the field like crazy. You could see Purdy not throwing great balls as the season progressed but he was throwing to wide open guys because CMC sucked coverage to him and the OL blocked. When Purdy is forced to win games due to their D being meh this year, he’s not shining.

Should make this its own thread but…

You can see he’s talking to his mom. Gotta remember there are bigger things than sports even when your team is sucking. That message should really be intensified after the tragic and horrible death of Adam Johnson last week in the English hockey league during a game.

      Does he not already do that? The go route stuff is to just make space for the constant dink and dunk. That's why it dries up near the 20 where it gets tough.  Difficult to defend? Just get up in scores and lean into it. If they can send pressure without going too soft in coverage it will work agaisnt the Panthers.  I still think the offense is a QB away from instant improvement.

      I don't know how about 5 at this point. I think that window has closed. Getting the easy stuff early and being notoriously unprepared every year is blowing up in their faces. 3 might be the max. Good Bryce shows up when the other team is having a practice game or an off weak after watching our film. It's basically a sucker punch to teams mailing it in. Groundhog day? More like Groundhog year again

      It's a weak take like it was a weak game. It was garbage time against backups. That's his shine time. It's should be made fun of because it was pathetic. The WRs were gassed? What about the backup DBs? Those guys must have been really tired since they sit on the bench most of the time. Take that BS and go whine to someone else. man or zone they played off the line and back 10 yards in soft ass coverage. That and practice is all Young is good at. When the other team plays like they want to win he shuts down. Same as last year. Blah blah blah
