OP I definitely feel like they have totally ruined it. “It” referring to being a fan of the team.

1st, the NFL has been losing me for years. Why do we need games in Germany? Mexico City? I like the National Football League, fir Americans. It isn’t the World Football League.

If they want that why not re-do the NFL vs AFL (with AFL being not American)? So I guess you can’t use the “A” ha, I hope the point survives. Thwe WFL. The EFL might work. If you must. I still don’t see the need. Adopt an American team if you are in Europe.

I like having separate American sports. Or rather, sports that are unique to the US. Ours. I don’t want to steal Europe’s sports (excluding golf probably, and maybe bullfighting).

I am with you on that.

One game in London was a cool novelty at the time. But this weekly poo of games in Europe is trash. There is something to be said about taking guys out of their familiar places, routines, and jet lag, that they do not account for. Just look at Miami last weekend.

    • I know teams have been selling out to stop the run, but Ricos kind of fallen off a cliff.. not sure if hes hurt or just worn down but even when theres a hole he doesnt look anything like he did those few weeks prior.
    • nah, that's basically saying people can't call a spade a spade.  Which is crazy.  89 is not a good dude.  He might have done a couple good things but it will never erase what he has proven to be in front of the world.  I tell my kid all the time not to view celebrity athletes as anything but people that play a sport well.  Lot of garbage humans play on Sunday.   And you have no clue who the good guys actually are.  PR in today's world is also powerful.  There was a window when Deshawn Watson checked every good guy box that could ever existed from the public's perspective.
    • Some folks say it's because teams are playing more shell defenses preventing more longer passes.  The analytics folks would rather you pass for 7 years every down.  As you state, the crop of QBs is mixed as far as quality. I think when you put it all together, it's a recipe for less passing yards.
