OAKLAND, Calif. (AP)—Stephen Curry recorded his first triple-double with a career-high 36 points, 13 assists and 10 rebounds as the Golden State Warriors beat the Los Angeles Clippers 132-102 to snap season-high nine-game losing streak Wednesday night.

Curry, the seventh overall pick in the draft, went 11 of 22 from the floor and set a personal best with seven 3-pointers while leading the Warriors to their first win since Jan. 22.

He had 17 points in the first quarter, matching a team record with five 3-pointers, then added another 17 in the third when he sank a pair of 27-foot jumpers. But Curry had to wait until the very end of the game to notch the triple-double, grabbing Al Thornton’s missed 16-foot jump shot just before the final buzzer.

 Man I didnt think this kid would be making it happen in the NBA this quickly. He's gonna be in Dallas this weekend too in the 3 point contest. Young Steph is looking like he's gonna be a big time force in this league. Congrats to the Currys for raising such a fine athlete and young man. Charlotte's own #30 Steph Curry.

Lakers just beat the Warriors by 10. But damn does Curry's shot look good... So so smooth. I think he's already the best shooter in the NBA.

Derek Fisher used some veteran tricks to kinda get in his head last night. He didnt shoot the ball well, but came 2 assists short of another triple double. I think Steph is gonna wind up being an all-star in this league.

24 points, a career high 15 assists, and 6 rebounds tonight for Steph in Golden State's blowout victory over Sacramento. Thats 3 straight double doubles for Steph and he continues to flirt with triple doubles every night. The kid outplayed Tyreke Evans tonight and is making a late season push for NBA Rookie Of The Year.

    • I originally hated the Miller deal but with the cap projected to rise nearly $10M next season the Canes struck some pretty good deals between Miller and Ehlers. Most of the team is locked in for the next few years. Nikishin will need an extension probably in the $6M AAV range. And Blake will need one if we don’t move him. Personally I’d move Blake, picks, and any prospect not named Nikishin/Nadeau/Artamonov for McTavish as I don’t see any any of the big time players moving teams next year. Realistically the Hurricanes should just target Gustavsson next year to fix the goal tending issue. But I’m all for moving Blake, picks, and prospects for McTavish this year. Ehlers - Aho - Jarvis Svechnikov - McTavish - Stankoven Martinook - Staal - Carrier Hall - Kotkaniemi - Robinson Jost - Jankowski Slavin - Miller Nikishin - Chatfield Gostisbehere - Walker Reilly Andersen Kochetkov I’d do Blake, Felix-Unger-Sorum, and 27 2nd for McTavish.
    • Very true on the length but stuff like this is never where we shine. We aren’t a good team at drafting.
    • Homerism aside, the more I see from Dan, the more impressed I am.  His player evaluation instincts. Last year his 2 premier FA signings, Hunt and Lewis COMPLETELY changed the line and I have a feeling his success in choosing blue chip guys will continue.  Look at the panthers’s rep for FA signings in the past. By and large, it’s been guys 1 year past their prime who had an injury and suckered our GM in to a crippling contract. We never get nice things. When was the last time this team signed 2 young blue chip studs  in the same offseason to contracts worthy of their impact? Ever?  Im telling y’all, players respect and trust Morgan.
