Tony can’t sit anymore.

He just makes the PP go, he really knows how to get the defense to open up with his skating and his passes are always on point.

As much as some will gripe TDA is an instant injection to our PP, we have guys that can score on the PP without TDA we don't have anyone to consistently set them up.

Dude last year and this year don't constitute every year.... prior to the ACL last season he missed a grand total of 4 games in 4 years....

He missed time in the playoffs a few years ago in a playoff game vs Boston or Tampa that kept him out for some time.  I know there is one more but I cant think of it off the top of my head.

Grasping straws buddy Boston and it was a ditty hit just like this dirty crosscheck that cracked a few ribs....

The point they play and 82 game season including the acl he's missed less that 40 games out of a possible 380.

Is he talking about the hamstring in the bubble after he hit a divot and was cross checked by Zdana resulting in him rolling his ankle? I can’t remember a time between that point and the ACL he missed any significant time.

That's it....I couldn't remember the other time.   They are all freak accidents and we know the guy goes hard.  However freak accident or not, the guy does miss time due to injuries.  Prob more to do with just how hard he goes.

I’m still pissed at Zdana for that. The dude has become an excellent human since he retired but he completely fugged svech in that game. I wouldn’t put it past him from making the divot in the first place.

Zdana is going all in for charity now. It’s commendable.

Let's not forget the time that Ovi knocked his ass back to Moscow in the playoffs a few years back.

Svech ain't some fragile little nesting doll, but he ain't exactly Whiplash either...

    • Jake in his prime was a gutsy QB. But just like with even someone like Cam. Father time is undefeated. It's very unfortunate we have a guy who is only 24 years old that has an equivalent arm to that. Absolutely blows my mind that our brain trust lacked the basic common sense to value arm talent when making a massive trade with ramifications for years to come. Unforgivable incompetence.
    • Jake, to me, will always hold a special place in my heart.  I really feel like for his era, he deserved way more love than he got, and should’ve had more than his one Pro Bowl.  He was a gamer with an underrated rocket arm. but let me tell you, after his Tommy John surgery, when he came back, I can’t remember who it was against, but it think it was a division game, he threw a ball that was supposed to be a throw away, as I think he was under pressure, and that poo floated forever and died right at the boundary where a defender ran over and picked it off.  One of the worst throws I ever saw.  His arm just wasn’t the same after the injury and surgery.  All that to say, that’s what almost every Bryce throw to the sidelines looks like to me.
    • And again, when watching him in college he had one distinct trait that I feel makes a franchise QB - on those plays when everything breaks down around him, he creates one on his own.  He doesn’t rely on or need everyone else.  That play last night on the final drive where he was getting sacked and threw it to Diggs before his knee hit the ground?  He does similar things all the time.  Mahomes, Allen, Lamar, etc., they all do it.  It’s what made Cam so special. but we picked a guy that’s the opposite of that.  He desperately needs someone else to make a play for him because he can’t.  Even that play yesterday on 4th down to Horn.  That wasn’t a great pass.  The defender was late and came down to make a play in the ball and Bryce threw it high and outside where Horn had to leave his feet and really use strong hands to catch it.  We relied on a 5’9” rookie playing in his first pro game to make THAT catch at THAT time bc of the early turnovers and a not great throw.  Crazy.
