Per ProFootballTalk.com;

"The Vikings have until 4:30 p.m. EST on Friday, January 2 to move the remaining 11,000 seats. Only 9,000 tickets have been sold since Monday morning.

The Cardinals must sell 5,600 tickets by 4:30 p.m. EST on Thursday, January 1.

The Cards host the Falcons on Saturday, and the Vikings host the Eagles on Sunday."

Cardinals got another extention per PFT:

'With the deadline for selling out their home stadium already moved from 72 hours to 48 hours and with a lot of tickets still left when the 48-hour deadline came, the Arizona Cardinals have received an unusual second extension.

The Cardinals now have until 24 hours prior to the Saturday kickoff of their game against the Falcons to move enough tickets to allow the wild-card contest to be televised in the Phoenix area.

As of 4:30 p.m. EST on Thursday, 3,700 tickets still remained.

“Based on the activity we’ve seen over the last couple days and particularly in the last 24 hours we’re very optimistic that this extension will get us where we need to be,” said Cardinals executive vice president/COO Ron Minegar (which might or might not rhyme with “vinegar”).

Meanwhile, a store named “Leslie’s Pool Supplies” has assisted the cause by purchasing a “large block” of tickets, and offering fans who buy $100 or more in pool supplies two free tickets to the game.

We didn’t make that last part up.

We swear.'

How pathetic....you should have to forfeit your spot in the playoffs if you can't sell out your home game.

I can understand Arizona more than Minnesota. Minnesota is football country.....what the hell else are they going to do on those cold winter days.

maybe vikings fans are still sour from the NFC Championship game 10 years ago..if they couldn't win it then what chance do they have now?

I live in Viking country and most fans are usually pessimistic about the team given all the near championships they've had over their history...

    • You’re playing madden we’re talking real football stuff…. He does have you seen his special on internet he def thinks he’s getting paid
    • Without the team having an identity kinda hard to predict what they value.  They either are really trying to build a balanced team, or preparing for another swing at qb if Bryce doesn’t pan out. Seems like we value the o line but the $ spent there has been underwhelming besides Lewis, you could say it’s because of injuries but still hasn’t been worth the investment. as already stated, the whole handling of Bryce young as a whole has been ass backwards, we spent the years we’re supposed to take advantage of having a qb with a lower cap hit, building the team up to be adequate. now It appears, key word appears, the saints have done it correctly, which is painful to even think about. Regardless, I hope the front office has paid attention to qb contracts recently, such as Tua, Kyler, Daniel jones(pre colts) and don’t settle for subpar qb play at franchise qb rates
    • This is the flaw in your logic.  Cutting 3 of our best players will somehow move us from whatever we are to "compete". Even the most Young super fans are not predicting a ceiling above top 10-12, and that will not nearly cut it.  Someone will need to break the log jam of QBs getting nothing or North of 50. Our qb is at best a middle ground, lets hope it will be us that also manage to pay the worth at about 100 over 3 years.  And before you jump me, yes that is only of he improves.
