No I absolutely understand that, but Tepper doesn't scout these players that we're drafting.  It just feels like our scouting department found some Analytical model that they are comfortable with and use only that to draft players.  How many players have we drafted with high RAS scores... the sheer number of actual contributors we've drafted over players with a 'lesser' score kind of speaks for itself.  There's a way to marry the 2 strategies, and that's the way we need to be doing things.  If there was a surefire algorithm alone that found stud players in the draft there would be an AI making the selections.

      yea....Minnesota fell off the map this year after going 14-3 with Darnold...bet they wish he was back... and his record looks good this year...maybe he figured it out.... he does get the tight azz in big games still.

      i presented this in another thread. he throws better to the out breaking routes the wr run, but almost nothing to the inside. that is half the options on a wr route tree. How do you run an offense like that?  even the outbreaking routes he throws are moonballs, that allow the DBs to catch up unless the wr is wide open. he has to throw with a lot of anticipation becuase he doesnt have the arm strenght to get it there if he is a little late. thats probably why you see balls behind the wrs.
