Since Peppers is almost certainly gone, some people will have egg on their faces

At the end of the season, the posters with supposed inside information here were unanimous (I believe) in saying that Peppers was going to either resign or be tagged. Supposedly credible Panther beat writers swore up and down that Peppers would be back.

Now the buzz from EVERYWHERE, locally and nationally, is saying that Peppers is gone on Thursday.

If that happens, can we finally shut the door on these people supposedly being credible?

I know a lot of people assume I had/do have connections, but I have always denied it... (or have I? ;) )

I'm sure you're talking about me, because I have been such a vocal supporter...

Personally, I still see Pep here for some reason or another after March 5th, the worst of which is if we decide not to tag him and risk letting him simply walk... It's just too bad for business from multiple aspects for Peppers NOT to be a Panther at some point in March...

If I'm wrong, I'm wrong... I've always said I'll eat my share of crow...

But when I'm right, don't expect me to not return said egg many of you are so eagerly awaiting to throw...

who cares, maybe they had good reason to believe he would stay... no reason to run around waving your dick

this..

it doesn't make someone dumb and no longer credible because they thought a team would want to get some compensation from one of the best defensive ends in the league..

*waits for SLJ to come in and yell NO EGG ON MY FACE!*

If we don't get SOMETHING out of Pep, I'LL BE THE LOUDEST MOTHERfugER ON THE MOTHERfugIN' HUDDLE, and NOT A GODDAMN MOTHERfugER WILL EVER MOTHERfugIN' HEAR ME PRAISE THE PANTHERS FOR A MOTHERfugIN' THING EVER AGAIN!... before I make my exit...

Of course, IF THAT MOTHERfugER SIGNS ON THE GODDAMN MOTHERfugIN' LINE, I'LL BE THE HAPPIEST "I TOLD YOU SO" MOTHERfugER YOU DONE EVER SEEN!

It's not that though. I heard that these people had inside information. That turned out to be wrong.

Who are you talking about?

Nobody in this situation has insider info except Pep, Carey, and the Panthers front office...

I've told you all these supposed leaks all along are either posturing by one of those parties, or simply rumors pulled out of people's asses so they'll have something to talk about...

    • Winning games and be a +500 team are good. But the goal is to win Super Bowl.  Chiefs had Alex Smith, went to playoff twice and still replaced him.   BY as of now: - To many fumbles - Completion in the intermediate range is just far below acceptable - Not enough of a deep throw threat....   The stats you try use is deceiving.  Catchable......  That is an opinion. Show me the completion %. And also, how does BY compare to other QBs using the stats you cited. Oh... ranked at 27

    • The Entitlement Paradox: When Winning Isn't Enough for Panther fans.    Just the other season(s) we were praying for wins by any means. Brought in every run of the mill QB you could think of.  We know all sides of the ball was bad like egregious bad. However some how we have won 5 games and TOXIC ENTITLEMENT has emerged.    We are a team that has to take wins by anymeans nothing has changed. Keep pounding means it aint gonna be perfect!!    Some panther fans have now developed a toxic entitlement where even victories feel insufficient, demanding flawless performance, or perfection, which stems from historical success in which we dont have any lol. This mindset poisons communities by fostering relentless criticism, harassment, and ingratitude that undermine team morale and alienate casual supporters. For the new Carolina Panthers, this could manifest as fans booing Bryce Young after gritty wins for low passing yards despite low turnovers, pressuring tepper into premature changes mid-rebuild, or driving away talent through online abuse!! eroding the positive momentum from their recent 4-game streak has brought us. Trust and believe the players do see your toxicity.    Anyways here are some positive stats.      Most Accurate QB on... 20+ Yard Throws 1. Drake Maye (79.2%) 2. Sam Darnold (79.2%) 3. Bryce Young (75.0%) 10-19 Yard Throws 1. Jaxson Dart (88.0%) 2. Jayden Daniels (82.9%) 3. Drake Maye (80.7%) 0-9 Yard Throws 1. Drake Maye (92.9%) 2. Spencer Rattler (92.6%) 3. Bryce Young (91.7%) @FantasyPtsData
