Question about root canals and wisdom teeth...

I had 2 molars that needed crowns, and likely root canals beforehand... I just got them both pulled, and that was an easy procedure... They numb you up, separate the gum, and pull... Both of mine came out pretty easy, although the second one came out with a piece of jaw bone stuck to it... He put some kind of stuff in there to stimulate the bown regrowth and sewed me up.

They remove the stitches after a few days, and you just have to keep the area really clean... I swished pretty often with some watered down Peroxyl and watered down Listerine to help it heal quicker...

As Episatxis will warn you, there is always the risk of the teeth around a removed tooth can "tip" or cause other probs, but so far so good here... There's always the option of getting prepped for an implant when they pull a tooth, but that'll cost you too...

As far as wisdom teeth, I had all 4 of mine cut out in high school... They put me to sleep and all I remember is the ceiling tiles seeming to move as I drifted off into a drug induced slumber, and waking up with blood soaked gauze in my mouth... I ate some french fries that afternoon, but you always have to be careful not to get anything in the socket... The second and third days there was a little swelling, but not much pain to speak of (thankfully, since the pain meds they prescribed made me vomit a few minutes after I took one)...

Yeah, I'm going to make sure my kids take care of their teeth though, as I will always probably have trouble with mine because I didn't take good enough care of mine when I was a kid...

    • That's usually the narrative when there aren't highly touted QBs or DEs. Off ball LB is the position this year. And there are some really good prospects. WRs are deep too. No generational level guys but very deep with solid options.  I would target CJ Allen in the 1st. I want a real ILB. Not a pass rusher that can move back. Not a safety that can move up. He's smart, tough, instinctive and durable. Dude had surgery on his meniscus and missed one game. One game. And... he's only played LB. Watching him control guards with his hands andsift through the garbage to get to the ball is refreshing. That's my guy in the 1st.
    • It’s always a weak draft, next year is always better according to the draftniks. This is a weak draft for QB, WR, and TE. Theres only a few true LT. RB and DB are average. It’s a good class for the rest of the Oline, Dline, Edge, and LB.
    • there is only a handful of blue chippers (Reece, Styles, Downs, Love, Bain) but overall its a pretty deep draft with solid players.  Really deep on the defensive side particularly lb's so that is in our favor.  Thats why I have been saying if styles is not there at 19 (he wont be) then try to pull a Rams/Falcons type deal and get another 2nd and first for next year.  IMO there really isnt much difference in quality of players at the back half of the first into the 2nd
