Who is it going to be?

Here is a pretty nice list for anyone interested in the top 50 or so wide receivers in the draft. I think it's more plausible we get a WR than one in FA for obvious reasons. So here are the (according to author but I think its pretty good) top 50 or so prospects HERE.

I don't think we have a shot at anyone that seems special right now. What I want to know is does anyone have a list of teams that will most likely draft a WR before the Panthers? I want to be able to try and narrow down to a few of these guys...

might draft a WR before us:

dolphins(MIGHT)

broncos

ravens

bengals

packers(BIG Maybe if Driver retires)

patriots(IF Moss is traded/released, which I doubt)

texans(IF Walter is not re-signed)

the best WR available if all these teams draft one is probably jordan shipley or andre roberts

So three mights and four even smaller mights? Theres still a chance! lol

Jordan Shipley isn't going anywhere in the Second. And rightly so. He's not much more than a slot receiver, isn't gonna do anything to take pressure off of Smith.

Also, I stil say we wait for andre Roberts in the 3rd. Unless Arrelious Benn falls to us in the Second. Then it's a different story.

Trindon Holliday of LSU. He's only 5-5 and 161 of so, but he's probably the fastest player at the combine at a 4.25ish 40, and can return kicks like a beast. Very similar to early Smitty in my eyes. He could be a steal in the 5th/6th.

Another guy similar is Brandon Banks of K-State. 5-7, 155. 4.29 40 time. Probably the best kick returner in the nation last season.

yeah I have him in the 6th round in my mock, we could keep him as a 5th WR or a RB. He was a RB in college. He would be an exclusive special teams guy for a while though, be really hard for him to get on the offense.

I think Gilyard will be a better NFL returner he's a lot more agile. Holiday runs pretty out of control even though he's incredibly fast. The holes aren't going to be nearly as big in the NFL and he'll need to work on his cuts. I'd still love to get him though.
