They wouldn't have drafted Greene if they felt Jones was the man of the future.

Thomas Jones has been one of the most underrated RB's over the last 5 or so years...he should change his name to Rodney Dangerfield

As a FFL owner of TJ in multiple leagues...I'm saddened to see him leave that awesome Jet's O-line.

jones is an overachiever. bears made a mistake letting him go (one of many in the past few years). shonne greene and leon washington are more than enough to carry the load on most teams. jets still having a young and still green QB, esp. one named mark sanchez, will need a bit more than that.

they need to be able to run the ball 550-600 times if they want to be successful. not sure i'm trusting the 1-2-3 punch of shonn, leon, and chauncy over thomas, shonn, and leon.

definitely wouldn't be trusting sanchez to carry that team, esp when your main WR has a bad case of crisco hands.

Shonne Greene had a fumbling problem in the early part of the year, and even struggled staying healthy all year. Leon Washington is coming off a major injury, and theres no telling what kind of player he'll be next year. The Jets definitely needed Jones back this year.

Hey its there lost because he was putting up some numbers, and didn't show any signs of losing a step. I think teams like the Chargers or Houston will take a look at him.

Probably still put up a 1000 yard season, it wouldn't be like what it was with the Jets but I still think he could do it.
