Yes lets change it to the one-eyed, purple horned, flat-billed, spiney backed, tobacco leaves...... Hell no I don't want to change it, I agree maybe a tweak in the logo or jerseys, but a completely new name? Cmon MJ isn't going to be the owner for that long haha. yes I said it. Michael Jordan will blow cock at running the Bobcats!

Now please prove me wrong MJ just like you did to all those who doubted you in bball

I wouldn't mind a name change. It's still a young franchise with no tradition. Besides, they would be able to sell a ton of new merchandise!

When Bob was deciding between Bobcats, Flight, and Dragons....Bobcats was actually my least favorite of the three.

Not at all!

The name Bobcats has grown on me over the years. With the recent logo and uniform change the Bobcats now have a strong identity to build upon.

Jordan has more important things to focus on now. Needs to work on marketing, getting fans in the arena, building a relationship with the community.

Winning will solve most of this, so lets take this effort to re-brand the team and worry about the product that is taking the court.

I voted No. I like the Bobcats name. I like that it fits in with the Panthers but not called the Panthers. I wouldn't necessarily be really upset if the name did change, but I do believe there should be some logo updates and stuff.

    • Doubling tripling and quadrupling down on this subject in defense of the pick is reminiscent of a certain mindset that has overtaken the political world. This conversation will become less contentious and dragged out to the point of becoming a dead beaten horse if rational minds can simply agree that we made a mistake missed on a potential franchise center and we will learn from it. All this coping is unnecessary.
    • Here in lies the rub that the supporting posters continue to ignore. He wasn’t a 2nd round pick in the 2025 class, especially with an ACL tear. It was a dumb pick for any GM who looks ahead to determine values. C and CB were much better values than an injured RB in 2024. If a RB isn’t even playing much in 2024, you have to compare him to 2025. We’re beating a dead horse but only because the defense of the pick is almost comical at this point. We’ve made a ton of poo picks and moves/non trades while Morgan was GM and the assistant GM. It happens, we don’t have to jump through hoops to act like we just had some really bad luck. The 2025 draft class is unknown so far but damn it felt way better afterwards for the first time in a long time. Embrace the potential and stop stamping guaranteed on the box of poo of the 2018-2024 drafts. We are were we aware because of them and 2025 has to hit so we can get past the 7 win max in 7 year hurdle. Also, “flashed his talent” isn’t 9 carries for 22 yards. His one reception for 18 yards isn’t a flash with 11 other touches for 27 yards. He hasn’t proven anything. We have no idea if he’ll contribute in 2026.
    • Oh for those tired of the Mannings I have bad news, Peytons son Marshal already has college teams after him and he isn't even in HS until this fall...   I'd wager we have two Mannings in the NFL in 2030
