I guess anything is possible.

I just wonder how he will respond when the media rips him the first time....and it will happen in NY.

He did not like being called out by JR to be a leader. I just wonder.....

Not to good, I mean we all saw how he was here when our media asked the question. Now times that buy 10 with the New York media lol!!

well, in Pep's defense he was a beast against Philly.......he just didn't rack up on the stat sheet or able to overcome w/ the offense did. If you watch that game snap by snap and see what he personally was able to do in the first half.....he was pretty impressive.

I'll give you Dallas....that was one of the saddest games of his career imo.

Yes, he was a beast against Philly...in the 4th quarter when the game was already decided.

why does everyone think that jared allen is so much better than pep?if he didnt play the packers twice last year he wouldnt had that mnay sacks.plus he goes hodini as well at times.

He's not. People are just still mad at Peppers because he doesn't want to be here.

That is the worst argument for Allen and I hear it all the time.

Revis: Picked Jake off 2 times

Jairus Byrd: Picked Jake off 2 times

Asante Samuel: Picked Jake off twice and Sanchez off 3 times

They should have those interceptions taken away because they played one of the worst quarterbacks this year right? No, that'd be stupid.

It's not all about sacks, Jared Allen brings consistent pressure EVERY, SINGLE, DOWN. Peppers doesn't even deserve to be mentioned in the same sentence as Allen, at least Allen gives it his all every down.

edit- also forgot to mention Jared Allen is phenomenal in run support.

pepper is too.he plays the run just as good as anybody.not to mention i didnt say take those sacks away but pep gets pressure from his end spot a lot as well. just to have the qb step up and pass it.you have to remember this as well,he has the williams wall pushing the qb out to him while pep had dlewis and whoever.81 sacks cant be overlooked give the man his respect becasue he earned it.

not to stir the Allen / Peppers pot any further, but Allen does have two of the best DT's in the league collapsing the pocket for him up front. how many times did peppers get to the QB, only to have him step right up and make a throw in the abyss in front of them. I am not saying peppers didnt take plays off or any of that, but the D line is a group, not a single guy. everyone has to contribute. but then again, i also saw pep get stood up by maurice jones drew, so

Why would you sign someone until they are 37? Isn't that a little old for a DE especially one which wants to play in coverage? Don't care he is gone but everything about Peppers gives me a headache I can't understand it.

    • I don't think working from memory is going to be very productive or useful. You would need to compare them all, which is far easier to do from the breakdowns of each game. That has tiered charts that give real data.  But, even then that wouldn't substitute for a trained eye(s) doing detailed film analysis to attempt to determine if we are modifying the offense dramatically for Bryce.
    • I think front office and general team culture under new ownership is sort of on the right track. The rookies all look incredible compared to where you'd expect each one of them to be right now. Lee's in game coaching is awful, he might be ok as a culture and developmental guy but that can't outweigh the in-game miscues and bad game plans. If LaMelo can't figure out the ankles then I think you gotta trade him for a haul, can't keep having your seasons lost every year because he can't stay on the court. And I say that as a big fan of him. Miller I think is unlucky, he looks likely to be an elite core player for us, but if he can't put together a stretch of healthy seasons he would trend towards LaMelo and need to be moved. I used to like Miles on the court a lot more but nowadays he's just an empty stat guy who needs to go. The short lived hot start to the season was fun but unless LaMelo and Miller both get and stay healthy within the next few weeks I can't even see us being a play-in team this year. And even if they do get healthy, we're probably looking at play-in at best, maybe barely compete for that fringe 6th seed.
