These so-called "experts" are idiots.

They were the same ones that were bashing Fox and the Panthers for keeping jake on the field. Now that he is released, they are saying he is the Top FA QB...he could start for half a dozen teams....and would be a great pick-up for a slew of others.

I actually disagree with you, OP. I feel that we are not in rebuilding mode. Right now, I feel we are actually a few steps from a championship. We could just as easily fade into mediocrity though. We have a lot of young/new guys, and if they continue to improve as they have been, I think we should get a ring in the next 4 years.
