I sort of feel sorry for these guys sometimes you know...he's young and rich...wants to go out and have a good time on the town...no different than what you and I would want to do. Not saying he's innocent, not saying he's not...but it would suck to always be concerned with what you say or do.

As to Roethlisberger, I think he may have usurped the crown for "Stupidest Quarterback in the NFL" from Michael Vick. Pretty clear from his record that the guy is a world class idiot.

Just being where he was while he still has a pending legal matter wasn't exactly a moment of brilliance.

Can't live like a shut in because of a Civil Suit from some money grubbing *****, got to live your life. But if he chose to f*ck this new girl in the bathroom of a club then yeah thats not to smart.

There's a distinct difference from going to a nightclub and being a shut in though.

If your a single 27yr multi-millionaire, I don't think ordering the large popcorn and going to see Alice in wonderland is proper night out.

Bottom line is trouble can find you anywhere, doesn't matter were you go. To say the guy should avoid certain places is BS.

Unless he truly has a problem and can't keep his hands off the bitches, but if that turns out to be the case, I think we will all know were Ben will be spending his nights.

      Basically agree.  He is the one of that bunch that offers upgraded pass catching along with he is supposed to be kind of special.   Then you have the OL and the ideas that if they perform you can have JAG backs and still do well. So okay we could be fine.  But Brooks is important and to me that receiving element sets him apart.  So there sure is something riding on him.     What strikes me as incongruent is people over in Atlanta or those that follow them look at Penix with a third surgery and act like it is no big deal.      And we are on pins and needles over Brooks.  Either they should worry a lot more or we should worry a lot less.

      I usually go a game or two optimist over the consensus here but this is too early for me to say. I need to see some players on the field.  I am not feeling real optimistic though.

      Okay as a ‘take CJ’ fan I actually don’t obsess over CJ and Houston, contrary to the narrative.  But I thought I picked up some noise that his OL left a lot to be desired.    Not a single Beyce supporter would judge him harshly if he had a crappy OL. We all know that.    So be fair about it.  A QB needs to be protected.  Especially a guy that gets to his spot and wants to finish the play from there. Which CJ is.
