Edwards is a Punk!

Well you can't really look at the dega crash and todays in the same light. 1st of all the dega wreck was partly carls fault because he moved down on brad to block him and took himself out brad didn't wreck him and that's directly from the horses mouth( pun intended !).. And they were actually racing for the win ( just like the Stewart ky busch crash)

Today Carl was many many Laps down and took out a top 5 car because he's a lil bitch..you can see his hands move the wheel right in brads car..

And brad dosnt go out there and wreck ppl on purpose , he just dosnt give them any room and the wrecks come from hard racing not revenge like in hamlins or Edwards case..

Talladega = racing incident

Atlanta = intential crash

And when did brad get an ego ?!? He's one of the most humble drivers , he is just a hungry driver who wants to win

Watch his Nationwide races. He's second only to Kyle Busch in terms of cockiness out there, but Kyle is actually a decent race driver.

Everytime I watched a Nationwide race last year he was punting Hamlin.

He probably caused the "big one" at Daytona too by being overaggressive.

Doesn't excuse Edwards in anyway though.

I'm a Kahne fan. I saw the wreck, yes it was intentional no one will argue that. But Carl did say he was sorry because his only intention was to spin him out. Until recently I was really enjoying Brad K but i've felt like he's raceing with a chip on his shoulder and I'm glad to see a driver not let him get away with his attempts at intimidation.

both are asshats. special k is a douche following in the footsteps of all people carl edwards the elder douche. both come off as pricks in interviews when you watch their actions. both pull bs moves only to try to gain sympothy or be mr nice guy when talking to the media.

carl is the same little poo that went after harvick in the garage in 2008.

kyle atleast gets he is a little punk and doesnt try to be something else like he did at hms or he is now putting on a act at gibbs (i think the real kyle is the gibbs kyle).

I'm a Carl Edwards fan now!! Maybe that real "punk" Brad will think twice about some of the stupid crap that he does like taking people out 10-15 laps into a race!! Brad need to be taught a lesson and he got it!!

Oh yea, for the people that say that Edwards is a _____ for the way he wrecked him - well last time I checked, you couldn't have predicted that happening. He wouldn't have tried to flip him on purpose - just screw up his raceday like he screwed up his!

so your cool with a guy laps down taking out a top 10 car for spite alone? there is racing a guy for position and taking him out and what carl did. both are bad, but carl's is classless. brad is a punk too, but carl crossed a line yestarday. the flip seals the reason why nascar needs to stop this poo from continuing.

Yeah, I'm pretty sure if the car didn't flip, this wouldn't be an issue.

I disagree.... racing hard and racing for position is one thing, coming out of the garage laps down to intentionally take out a top 5 car... Then take about 3 shots at him trying to do so.... That's a new level of classlessness.

Yeah that is what I am saying ... besides NASCAR is loving it!! Feuds sell tickets!!!! :thumbsup:

and yes I kinda still side with Carl doing what he did, being laps down because he could have won that race too if Bad Brad wouldn't have been too excited 10 laps in the race!!

Mike and claws give me a break, cuz you know if it was Jimmie instead of brad who was wrecked that you would be calling for Edwards head... and when mike said Edwards didn't mean to flip him.... Ummm Edwards is an experinced driver he knew that the cars have a chance of getting airborne when turned around, and he did it on the front stretch with the cars at top speed...... He's either a liar or he's dumb.

Edwards is just lucky nobody was hurt or killed, if they were he probally could have been kicked out of nascar. Imagine the lawsuit nascar would have if a spectator was hurt or killed due to an intential wreck!!

Hey I know Brad ... he did drive for us and use to hangout in the chassis shop, but he is driving foolishly and making a new enemy with ever race just about! He has to learn when to drive hard and when not to, it goes back to the whole give and take debate. He just had to learn a lesson, that's all. As a rookie he needs to gain respect out there on the track and he is failing to do so. Also there is no way Carl made him flip - thats just ridiculous! Even Eli Gold on Windtunnel last night said that. Granted it shouldn't have happened on the straightaway but he tried to get him back in the turn and couldn't get him. Oh well -- gives us something to talk about and NASCAR is loving it either way because we are doing just that, especially before the next 2 races coming up with Bristol & Martinsville!!! Should be interesting to say the least! :D

I for one am glad to see NASCAR of the 60's & 70's

and yes even a little Dale sr

You have a problem you settle it on the track.

After enough wrecks and enough damaged equipment

Either the problem will take care of its self or the owner will get rid of the problem to save $$$

NASCAR almost put the fan base to sleep with all their strict rules and penaltiles for this and that

If Nascar is smart

They will back off as much as possible and let the drivers talk it up in media ,this will increase ticket sells and viewers

Behind the scene they can pull both in and talk it out .

This could give NASCAR a major shot in the arm if handled correctly

    • Sure, but if that happens, the draft pick will look even worse for the Falcons, as instead of getting them a player that could win now, they took someone who ran off their prize FA QB after 3 years and now looks like they may be a bust. Penix was one of the more polished QB's in the draft and would have probably been a rookie starter if taken by someone with an uncertain starting QB, if he's not ready to step in and play well in year 3, then it's probably not going to work out.
