Panthers seem keen on ASU's Armanti Edwards

Ok i am ignorant huh. So the Big East is comparable to the Southern Conference now huh. I never said small school guys can not do well in the pros. I am saying that Edwards is gonna go undrafted. AND yes the difference between playing a FCS school and FBS is obvious and if Pat had been at a smaller school he would have owned the competition. I like Amanti and wish him luck but his height and size is gonna limit him.

Armanti was not passed over because of grades. For God's sake, he graduated in 3 1/2 years (with honors I might add). He was offered by several of the big boys but they wanted him to play WR or PR but he wanted a shot at playing QB.

Again, Drew Brees will tell you size is everything.

lol every thread about Edwards turns into this. The only thing that's missing is Panthro mocking App State fans because they may never get to watch their team battle Miami of Ohio for Imodium Antidiarrheal Bowl glory.

Oh yeah and bigjohn I'm not trying to bust your balls here but Armanti is dumb as a brick. I know people who took classes with him.

(By Darin Gantt, [email protected]) Appalachian State quarterback Armanti Edwards said Tuesday the Carolina Panthers seemed more interested in him than any of the NFL teams he's spoken with so far. But as much as he thinks they like him, he's not sure what they want to do with him.p/Such is the problem with the celebrated Mountaineers passer, and the reason he was catching punts and running receiver drills at his pro day workout Tuesday.
