Verizon is offering Sunday Ticket for free to their customers. As always, there's a catch:

  • Must be on an Unlimited Plus or Unlimited Ultimate mobile plan, and gotta buy one of their fancy phones, like the Google Pixel Fold, Galaxy Z Flip6, or Samsung Galaxy Z Folds6
  • Existing customers who add a new line can also get Sunday Ticket free
  • Home Internet customers who sign up for 5G Home Plus, LTE Home Plus, Fios 1G or Fios 2G -- all can get Ticket for free

Current customers who don't qualify for the above can get $100 off the Ticket plan.  Verizon is also discounting YouTubeTV in general

They're also offering free NFL tickets through their Verizon Access app

Back when I bought Sunday Ticket years ago through my satellite provider back then, it was umm, okay. And then after the season was over, I thought I was done for it. Then they automatically billed me for the entire next season, in like May of the year. No warning, no explanation, no opt out. It took forever to get my money back.

I still think it's a rip off service and probably always will be unless you live outside of your team's area.

I remember that scam. With how internet service has increased in speed, quality and coverage the people that use satellite has to have shrunk considerably.

You better believe it! We've got fiber optic here and it's amazing.

    • Number 9  Carolina Panthers  Bryce Young, the first overall pick in the 2023 NFL Draft, produced career highs in completion percentage (63.6%), passing yards per game (188.2) and passing touchdowns (23) in 2025. However, those numbers aren't exactly stellar by NFL quarterbacking standards. Even though the Panthers backdoored their way into the postseason in 2025 as NFC South champions with an 8-9 record, Young's performance was up-and-down. He threw for the third-fewest passing yards by a quarterback to make the playoffs in the last 20 seasons, per CBS Sports Research.  FEWEST PASSING YARDS BY QB TO REACH PLAYOFFS, LAST 20 SEASONS (MIN. 16 STARTS) PASSING YARDS PLAYOFF WINS 2012 Christian Ponder (MIN) 2,935 0 2008 Joe Flacco (BAL) 2,971 2 2025 Bryce Young (CAR) 3,011 0 2006 Steve McNair (BAL) 3,050 0 2019 Josh Allen (BUF) 3,089 0 Young did deliver some high highs, like when he threw for a franchise-record 448 yards passing in a Week 11 overtime win at the Atlanta Falcons and when he went toe-to-toe with Stafford in the playoffs in a 34-31 defeat.  Kenny Pickett couldn't win the Cleveland Browns' quarterback competition a year ago, and Will Grier is a career backup. • This is why we need the Bank of America Stadium Ballroom.
    • That thread has all the huddle legends either posting in it or mentioned in it. I remember everyone of those folks and I truly miss seeing them post here. This place was so much better with them here.
