Did anyone hear Cowherd slide in a comment that Car will be in Superbowl

He will NEVER, EVER give Carolina any type of airtime cause of our small market, but...

He slid in a comment that he thought Carolina will make it in the superbowl and has likened our OT loss to the Gmen to their loss to the PATS last year (and yes I know he is not alone in this)

I enjoy his show although he is total rabble rouser and sycophant-

sidenote I love his rants on how the Big 12 doesnt have horrible Defenses but instead have awesome QB's yet...OLE MISS hangs 47, 47......47 points on TT and neither Texas nor Mizzou can light it up on big ten slouches- LAUGHABLE!!!!!

Here's the skinny..... We want every Tom, Dick and Harry talking about us on the radio, TV, web, mags and news print but, we also want to be under the radar. Got it?

Last weekend on tv he said Panthers and Steelers in the SB.

That's my hope.

Steelers are the only team I could tolerate losing to.

After beating San Diego on a last second pass to begin the Season, losing to them in the Super Bowl would be devastating to me. Talk about going from a high to the abyss.

Titans? Losing to Kerry Collins who started his career in Carolina, and "Smash and Dash" from neighboring state, Tennessee? Where's the nearest cliff?

Losing to the Ravens? It's "BALTIMORE" for crying out loud. I don't care if they've won a Super Bowl. They have a rookie QB and play in a city as "meh" as Charlotte, from a national standpoint. Few want to see Baltimore versus Carolina, and that includes me. I didn't even watch the Giants versus Baltimore a few years ago, they were that "blah."

But Pittsburgh? The Steele curtain. Long, rich history. A chance to shut up Willie Parker after all the fumbling he did at UNC would be great, but he's still a Tar Heel. There is no reason whatsoever for me to despise Pittsburgh.

I'll be pulling for the Panthers winning the Super Bowl, but there would be "NO SHAME" in losing to Pittsburgh. I don't think I could stand losing to the other AFC teams.

Bertrand Berry (AZ defensive end) had a nice interview on PTI where they pointed out that AZ is getting dissed in the national media and Kornholio asked him pointblank if the AZ team would rather have the talking heads picking them or picking against them.

His answer was perfect, "it doesn't really matter since you guys don't get on the field"

    • I consider last year Bryce's rookie year.....and I expect some regression/D adjustment in his second season in Canales' O.  Film is film.   So yeah, I agree....he won't be the dude that opened up the year week 1 or closed the door week 17.  We will get some dude in between it all most likely.  Which IMO puts us in a really awkward no man's land with Bryce.
    • The question is which Bryce shows up game 1. Do we get week 2 (2024) Bryce, or week 18 (2024) Bryce?  I will say that his progression after the benching last year was amazing. He literally got better every game - sans Dallas. Like every week he did something we hadn't seen him do before. And it wasn't luck, toss it up for grabs plays like Penix did against Carolina. Penix was just throwing the ball as hard as he could in the direction of a receiver and hoping they'd make a play for him. What we saw from Bryce was different. Decision making, reading defenses, recognizing blitzes and where they were coming from, knowing his hot, avoiding pressure and manipulating the pocket, throwing with anticipation, taking shots downfield, and running the ball surprisingly well. Stats don't always tell the story. Did he miss some throws that he should have made - sure did. But the clutch gene is strong with this one. One score game and Carolina has the ball with 2 minutes on the clock - I'm confident he'll give them a chance to win more than he doesn't.
    • I really like David Moore. He's a reliable WR. Smart, doesn't drop the ball and he's where he's supposed to be. Now, he ain't gonna route up a DB. He ain't gonna 50/50 ball a DB. He ain't gonna run by a DB either. But he runs a good enough route and catches the ball - definitely an NFL average WR. Every team could use a David Moore. Now if this receiving group can force Dan and Dave to let him go, then this team has come a long way since 2023. A LONG way. But I will say that Horn's speed is a big deal. They don't really have another guy with speed and quickness to blow the top off the defense and make guys miss in space after the catch, though he is still a rookie and hasn't done it in the NFL. If he and Renfrow push Moore out, then we might actually have something gents. Plus I see Renfrow as Thielen's replacement in 2026. I just don't think Coker is the reliable, move the chains guy like Thielen. Could be wrong.
