He has been our weak link. He is the single reason we drafted Bryce Young. Had we beaten Tampa in 2022, we never get the chance to make that mistake.

Offensive line men are typically do not come into there own until the 3rd year we knew he was an incredibly raw pass blocker with a high athletic ceiling and and a dominant run blocker......

We couldn't beat Tampa because they chose to man up on Evans lol.

Not to mention last year pretty much the entire interior was the "weak link" Moton even looked awful because of it.

Chuba is a guy that runs smart and maximizes his ability. He won't win many footraces. You give him a little daylight on the edge he'll get you to the sticks most times and sometimes 15 or 20 before you know it.

Chubba is a JAG, but he’s always going all out. As I got roped back into Fantasy this year, I will caution that the Raiders have been awful against the run. Well over 400 yards and 3 TDs in 3 games. Their comeback against the Ravens made them look better than their should be 0-3 record. Their coach talking about firing people needs to look in the mirror.

If Brooks is what we hoped, we should see some really good results with this OL.

    • I presented that scenario because this is a home game and we seemed to have improved in some capacity in that area as of recently. The problem with the possibility of sweeping the Bucs is this team has had a habit of quickly falling victim to momentum shifts. The Bucs are coming off a bitter loss the same as the Panthers but the Bucs have a much better proven track record this time of year and they have performed when the pressure is on unlike our Panthers. We have a shot against the Seahawks here in BOA but that is a matchup that could quickly get out of hand because they are a well coached team and that goes back to the momentum shifts I mentioned. I just don't see this team beating the Bucs in their stadium to close the season. Tall order to say the least.
    • I’d give it another year for Sanders and Evans, I don’t much care what you do with Tremble’s spot. Let him have another year or maybe replace him. Haven’t looked at his contract so that may be the determining factor.
    • Following the crazy up down pattern we finish 9-8 with an improbable sweep of TB, and lay an egg in the home playoff game.  I don’t know if I can sign on to sweeping TB but I suppose it’s possible, they aren’t really that good this year.    ps I can buy beating TB Sunday and losing to Seattle.  Then it just gets to can you fluke one game. Any given Sunday. So we’ll see.
