Florida's The Golden Calf of Bristol turned down an invitation to attend the NFL Draft in New York, which starts on April 22.

Sam Bradford, Ndamukong Suh and Gerald McCoy are among 16 players who have accepted invitations to the NFL Draft.

The Oklahoma quarterback and the defensive tackles from Nebraska and Oklahoma are projected to be the top three picks.

With the draft extended to three days, the first two in prime time, the NFL has increased the number of player invitations. Also accepting are running backs C.J. Spiller of Clemson and Jahvid Best of Cal; cornerbacks Joe Haden of Florida and Brandon Ghee of Wake Forest; offensive tackles Russell Okung of Oklahoma State, Bryan Bulaga of Iowa and Trent Williams of Oklahoma; defensive tackles Lamarr Houston of Texas, Jared Odrick of Penn State and Dan Williams of Tennessee; defensive end Derrick Morgan of Georgia Tech; receiver Demaryius Thomas of Georgia Tech and safety Eric Berry of Tennesse

Good decision by him. Always seems to be a circus around The Golden Calf of Bristol, let the players who will obviously get drafted ahead of The Golden Calf of Bristol get their due. Don't need the morons during the draft at ESPN constantly talking about The Golden Calf of Bristol and putting the camera on him, although I'm sure they'll mention him every 5 minutes anyway.

damn was hoping for another brady quinn moment

LOL, Quinn was priceless. I don't blame The Golden Calf of Bristol either. No one really knows if he can actually play a position on the NFL level yet. I wouldn't burn an early rounder on him.

    • The Athletic posted their goalie rankings for the season... The description of the tiers are as follows... Where would you rank Freddie and Pyotr? And don't cheat and look up the article. I'll post their ranks and the link in a bit.
    • Refs will be in their pocket. Always have to account for that. They are 20th in rush defense. They currently have the worst pass defense in the league. I mean I want to say even Bryce could at least put up 250 or more passing yards given that but man he looked BAD when the pocket collapsed against Miami and they had the 20th pass defense. Just can't expect to consistently get clean pockets like that in this league even with the better OL's. I'd say with this being a home game hopefully our guys will be motivated regardless. We certainly seem to play much better at home. We'll see.
    • They'd never do it, because it really would be insane to do, but if I'm the Commanders, I'd seriously consider trading Daniels after this season, especially as he'd get a HUGE return for him. He's RG3 part 2, with his body type and style of game, I just can't see how he holds up long term, he's going to end up having a seriously injury prone career. It would take some massive balls (or pure insanity) to pull the trigger on trading him, but I do think 5 years from now it would be looked back upon as a smart trade.
