stupid a22 mock drafts! Look morons. (so called experts) Were not taking a DT in the second round, weve already invested picks into tank and louis. The only way we add a DT is through a veteran not to mention the DT we took last year out of Georgia. Our WR problem will not be fixed in the second round. Unless we get Dez Bryant or Golden Tate Steve smiths wishes of a WR challenging him for the 1 isnt going to happen! Fox said he has a plan for the WR position, and I doubt its drafting someone in the second round. Also last but not least we DONT need a fuking rookie qb! We have Moore and Cantwell two young players we NEED a Veteran qb to backup moore. Not a rookie. So just shut the *** up! lol

I think you will see a quality WR selected for the panthers in the second, Goodson given a more prominent role in the passing game as a slot option, and the emergence of Dwayne Jarrett. Which might actually be pretty formidable. That's probably what will happen and I think everyone should expect a more in house approach. Though I'd feel even better about it if we took 2 WRs this draft.

If the team doesn't see a WR worth taking in the second when they pick, I think you'll see them take a Dline player and most likely a DT.

im thinking more along the lines of an outside backer .. or a corner since richard marshall is being a butt monkey at the moment and we have no depth outside of munnerlyn/hudson

Mocks are fun to do, fun to talk about, and totally worthless after the first 5-10 picks.

Personally I think we'll be looking at a DE in the second, but a QB or WR won't surprise me a bit. DT would, unless it was a BPA type of selection.

I fully expect the to take the best WR or DT avaliable in the 2nd.

Seriously? Tank and Louis? We don't even know if they can play is average as Kemo/Lewis........we needed upgrades from Kemo/Lewis. With Pep gone....we need at least one very good DT. We got none currently on the roster..........Oh, wait...this is the part where you tell what badasses Tank and Louis are.....what's next, Kasay is going to lead the league in touchbacks?

    • I think everyone says Mike Evans because of size, but really they have different strengths and play styles.  Tmac is better on intermediate routes and not nearly as good at contested catches.
    • At this point, it is criminal to go into the 2026 training camp/OTA's with XL penciled in as a #2 WR. The team must upgrade, either through free agency or the draft. If he cannot give 100% effort on significantly less snaps as a #4-6 WR(players like Tremayne have done that consistently) then I don't think you have a player worth rostering beyond the trade deadline. Offensively, we eventually have to upgrade to an NFL starting caliber C. It's been almost the length of time from Gross to Ikey since Kalil retired and we have below average to terrible C play. Love Mays as a BC-esque utility backup but he will never be an above average long term starting C.  The TE room is one of the worst in the NFL but it's a low usage position in this offense, so the investments are likely to be small, if any. I would never expect to see an elite TE in a Dave Canales offense. 100% agree on OL depth. We actually aren't bad there but BC will be gone, Mays is a UFA, Corbett is a UFA and Zavala has been both injured and bad. We have to bolster that depth again or resign guys like Mays and Corbett to keep that depth somewhat stable.
    • Bingo. The dude is a baller no doubt and I'd love to have him in a vacuum but like you said he's gonna fetch a haul so the only teams it really makes sense for are teams with an overall good roster who they feel an edge rusher like Crosby would out them over the top in terms of competing for SBs. I'd be looking st teams like the Pats, Bucs, Ravens, Seahawks, etc. It wouldn't be shocking to see him moved. He may be more valuable to a rebuilding team in the form of the draft assets he'd fetch than he is on the field. He should still have several more good years in the tank at 28 but by the time the Raiders can reasonably expect to rebuild he's gonna be on the decline.
