Imagine posting on a forum to mock people for posting on a forum. Whether you realize it or not you just played yourself. LOL

Guess what? We've heard people like you lecture people with opinions about how *insert former Panthers front office or coach moron* knows best and we're all just idiots. This forum exists to discuss Panthers football and that includes *GASP* sharing opinions that may be contrary to what the Panthers end up doing.

If you just want a circle jerk of an echo chamber reassuring you that everything the Panthers do is brilliant despite the abysmal record on the field, I think they made a Discord group for that.

Your reading comprehension played you. I'm posting in a forum to mock the handful of posters that invade every single topic with the primary goal of flexing your brilliant observations about Bryce being small and bad and the team being terrible and dumb win, lose, or draw. It's an utterly bizarre resolve to nitpick and complain about everything that is only matched by the most politically progressive pooholes on the internet. Does it really bear so much repetition at this point? All last year, all off-season, all season I've read the same tired takes from the same ardent posters who must believe they are a contingent of holy crusaders who can will away our massive QB flop, among other glaringly obvious mistakes, if they post enough pithy comments and blast anyone that dissents. It's lame as hell and only serves as your own circlejerk of enlightened negativity. I genuinely can't tell if some of y'all are fans of the team, or just fans of hating the team.

At this point nobody is really on the other side of the issue - the Panthers are bad and Bryce is, too. I said as much. This isn't news, since its inception the team has only ever been temporarily good when we luck into phenomenal talent and/or the team chemistry is off the charts and things break our way. We've never had a particularly good GM or coach, so we have never seen sustained success year over year. Nobody is saying the team has made the right calls historically. Certainly not me in my 3 posts here. The constant strawman arguments by the crusaders who paint any statement that isn't overtly negative, or god forbid remotely positive, as some sort of line-toeing or shilling for the organization is absolutely braindead and completely detached from the reality of the conversations you inevitably end up dominating.

We'll stop complaining about the massive mistake we made with Bryce overlooking his obvious lack of physical talent when we start fielding a competitive football team again. Until then... well, it sucks to suck.

But really there's plenty of other talk. Bragging about our revamped OL. Hope with our young WRs. Chuba is balling out, etc. You're just finding what you want to find.

Meanwhile, five posts in and you're already going political on the football forum. I know where this is headed. Enjoy Discord.

Just Great...................we finish with maybe 4 or 5 wins and get out of the cellar in the NFL and then hang on to this kid and as a result never get a winning season..........let alone a playoff berth or good draft pick for a QB.

yeah that's the worst case scenario for the Panthers  & unfortunately we are headed in that direction right now simply because we have Chuba Hubbard & a really good oLine which of course has at the same time nothing to do with Bryce Young's performance   ...just saying

    • 100%. And these same people will claim you have an agenda. You can't have it every way. We had the lowest rated defense in the league last year. Statistically the worst ever. By PFF grades (for whatever that's worth- but they are readily accepted, used, and conveyed by most "reputable" sources), the defense was the worst ever. Not only that, PFF rated our receiving corp the worst in football last season. The absolute worst... out of 32 teams. Which is why regardless of the lip service Canales and Morgan paid to the current guys, they knew it would be criminal not to give Bryce more help. People fixating on team stats and not taking these things into context are stupid, plain and simple, and I'm for one thankful they're not running this team (or probably anything for that matter bc they obviously can't discern reality. Again, going back to the eyeball test these Narrative Nancies seem to hate so much, did they not see the windows Bryce was putting balls into? Have the generally not watched much NFL? Please, please show me the film where all these NFL QBs are making throws like this to this point Bryce was "below average" down the stretch compared to them. Bryce made more wow throws in that 3 game stretch of the Bucs, Chiefs, and Eagles than every other QB combined in all the years since since Cam got hurt I genuinely am baffled by people that can watch throws like that and act like it's nothing. I guarantee you Steve Spagnola, Todd Bowles, and and Vic Fangio didn't think it was nothing after watching the little guy torch them with players those teams would be embarrassed to trot out at the skill position players. The national media spent all year making excuses for Mahomes not having elite weapons when he had multiple 1st & 2nd round talents at the skill positions along with future HoFers in Kelce and Hopkins. Bryce wasn't throwing for 300 yards every week with David Moore and Adam Theilen in spite of jaw dropping throws and you want to say the guy played below average. For those people, again, we ain't watching the same sport. And the name calling doesn't change that... The vitriol and projection... it's off the effing charts with these people.
    • "Well you see if you remove this terrible game that terrible game this other terrible game and then focus on these games you'll see he's actually one of the better QB's in the league and he's actually as good as Jayden Daniels". My god this place is delusional. I love it.
