Thank goodness I live in Charlotte. Steelers game will be shown locally...I'd assume. I mean, it is when there's a Thursday/Saturday game here.

We wouldn't play the Cowgirls because of schedule rotation and divisional finish. Playoffs is a possiblity if we make it.

Schedule rotation has almost everything to do with SOS. Last year we had the NFC East and the AFC East, therefore we had a tough schedule along with the rest of our division. Only two games are based off of a team's prior year record. Those are the other two teams in their conference that had the same divisional place finish they did.

Something else noteworthy. IND/NE isn't on during prime time, and New Orleans,St. Louis, San Francisco won't get it at all.

They've been working it every other year or so, CBS lobbies hard to keep NE/IND on their sched, preferably in November.

Yeah. This is only the 9th year that they have used that formula. Someday everyone will figure that out.

A long time ago, in a galaxy far, far away, the Panthers had a week 3 bye (which the NFL doesn't even do anymore).

It followed an incredibly tough, physical OT win at the home of the defending Super Bowl champs. That win helped propel them to their first and only Super Bowl Apperance. But I digress . . .

You knew they were gonna have a bye week, or be on the road in week 6 because of the NASCAR race. Panthers request that every year. They've only been home like 1 time that weekend ever.
