They are a better team without Ovechkin. 5 guys playing 200 feet, which isn't the case with him in the lineup.

2 different teams- the one who feeds Ovechkin until he gets the record, and the one that wants to win games when he's out of the lineup.

3-0 Washington. Canes will lose tonight, again in NY Sunday and NJ next Friday. All the teams they need to beat come playoff time and they will show us they can't.

Don’t be P69 negative… haha

Holy poo I turned it off when it was 2-0 and didn’t realize they scored again to make it 3-0.

im telling y’all, Rods system is wearing out. His coaching is on deaf ears. Our big guns stink this game.  Defense is wack ass bullshit. I’m ok with trading some of our players and getting new blood.

I don’t think it’s his system. This is a transition year, we just started out really hot. We have a chance to regroup in the offseason with significant cap space.

I agree with the second part but not the first. His system is reason we flame out each year in the playoffs. Can’t score and the goalie play falls off the map… like tonight.

I think Rod has already hit his ceiling.

    • We're definitely not going to get the benefit of the whistle anytime soon. Teams have certainly been getting more physical with us since that first Pistons loss. We responded with many upcoming wins by playing very physical basketball ourselves. That's what it's going to take. If it means some fouls along the way so be it but the team has to set the tone. But either way we need more offense closer to the rim. We're right there with GS for most 3PA. And the Warriors are also backing their way into a play in game. We shouldn't be wanting to emulate that.
    • Honestly this feels like a coaching problem. They have a certain "type" with "flaws" that they believe can be coached, the issue is mingo, XL, and others have not took to this "coaching". I thought the one group panthers would excel in would be WR, given Dave, brad, and Moore backgrounds( WR coach was a solid NFL WR). Just a wealth of WR coaching, but........ I also feel BYs confidence in XL is one of the main issue, its their relationship. I think BY trust the following- tremble, Tmac, Coker and that's all(maybe new Metchie) . There was a vid and XL and BY were repping together. I do feel if you put XL with about any of the top QB, you'd see some good numbers at times and you'd see a NFL WR.
    • It's cooled off because teams are coming out and pressing them and fouling them 35ft out, the backup Knicks are holding jerseys and getting away with it and that's been a repeating theme over the last few weeks.    Teams are coming out and applying pressure closer to halfcourt, playing tough physical defense, grabbing jerseys and the like to get them out of rhythm and it's been effective.
