This season would have been a great Ted Lasso season

 

Take a down and out franchise, Hire a “Happy” coach. There is a star that hasn’t blossomed yet and the ownership want the coach to “fix” him. The star doesn’t plan like he can, and gets benched. The team brings in the veteran to the place him. the team wins, everything is great. Then team starts to slip back to old habits. The veteran gets hurt and the team is forced to plan the young QB again. The results start slow, then the QB starts to understand move and results increase but they are still losing. You make it to the last game of the and your star you have been working with has the best game of the year and everything works to win.

 

Everyone gets excited for the next year, then the camera goes to Canales walking into an office with his arm around Evero, saying “Now let’s see how we can help you”

      Yea, the test is whether Bryce can ever play well, even against the worst defense in the league. If he can’t have a complete good good against them, then there’s no more room for doubt.

      I have rarely been mad at Young for any of this. Sure I am sick of his play and get frustrated wvery so often and call him a lil or a peewee or high school or something.  It is everything that came with him that is so hard to deal with. Starting with watching him try to play NFL level ball. Knowing what was coming since April 2023 and enduring it into year three.  Being old with a finite number of seasons left and knowing they threw at least three of them away the minute his name was called was the worst part of it. Wondering if I would live long enough to see anything better or was he going to be it the rest of my life. They keep making the  mistake of seeing something in him, clutching their delusions. Watching that happen year after year and knowing it could happen yet another year.  Tepper stole my football joy.  I know, poor me. But it sucks I tel you.

      I swear if Bryce comes out and gives the cowboys two more of his gift turnovers in the first quarter
