More proof Fox isn't calling the shots

1st three picks in this draft:

Defensive players = 0

Offensive Line (including blocking TE's) = 0

Running backs = 0

This is as big of an anti-Fox draft as you can get.

I've got to disagree. We have no glaring needs on the O-line. We've got the best running game in the league. And besides the line, where do we need defensive players? And the DTs and DEs available are fine in the fourth round.

Frankly, we need help on offense. And he's done a good job over the years spreading his picks out on both sides of the ball.

I think he realized where our short comings were and addressed them. Let's see if fox let's the OC use them before passing judgement. Funny......some can't even give the man credit when it's deserved.

If he does that means the team performed well and thus he has somewhat re-invented himself from what he was because the wins will come from mostly very young players and very few long term vets (28 & over).

Meaning, he had to do some serious coaching/teaching this year which will result in pretty much all of us saying, "damn, well done Fox, you earned the extension".

one guy doesn't decide who they draft from what Pat Y reported during the draft watch period on espn.com...it take's a majority consensus on a player for them to take them..hurney or fox don't take the final say.

Why in the hell would he draft O-line, TE, and RB when the Panthers are already loaded with those guys? Everybody would be calling him a raving moron if Fox would have done that early in the draft.

But yeah, go ahead and think that the head coach of the team has no input on the players being drafted. If that were the case, he wouldn't even be here! lol
