Because he was ultimately a top 10 player, and a QB at that, he's got to have more fanfare around his press conference. So it won't be until later.

Ultimately, he was a 2nd rounder. There once were times when LaFell and Hardy were thought to be possible 1st round caliber guys.....time went on and things never panned out.

That type thought process has always signaled what is wrong w/ this kid......that he was special and deserved hoopla. He needs to win and earn that stuff.....something he hasn't done. (didn't in college either).

You might want to tell that to EPSN and not me.

No, that is something someone has needed to tell Jimmy. He rolled into Notre Dame acting like he was going to set the world on fire...acting like hot stuff.....all he did was have a losing record, never beat a ranked team, and having one decent season his senior year.

Jimmy has a lot to prove imo....and little has to do w/ the ability throwing the football. He will be a tough act for a bunch of mid to late 20 year old men to really get behind w/o some real work put in. It will be interesting to see how his contract situation and everything works out.....and how hard it is to get him on the field.

You do realize he left as a junior right? And that he pretty much improved every game from his freshman season to his junior year?

It's not his fault that his defense couldn't hold a team to anything under 40 points a game. It's remarkable that the kid threw only 4 int's this year.
