If it pans out we could have some incredible players.

The odds of all of them panning out are not very good. The odds of none of them panning out are equally as bad. If 5 out of the 10 picks reach their full potential then it's going to be a great draft. Assuming 3 of them aren't QBs ;)

How dare them take a flyer on a CB in the 6th or 7th. We all know they can't make the team......

wait a minute, what about that guy in your avatar.

Just because you have not heard of them does not mean they do not have NFL talent.

f**king idiot.

i followed cap the whole time .. he played shutdown all 3 years he was there .. you can eat my ass dry mmk old timer .. those guys are bum *** nobody .. i mean at least get something we need and not something for shits and giggles

If we can fit some of these players into a multi-value role then we've had a great draft. Typically, we stay vanilla so i dunno...

and by vanilla I dont mean we dont try new things. Yet when we do draw up a flea flicker it goes to Moose - not goodson, smitty and probably never to the players we just drafted.

I know SC got mixed up and was talking about LaFell being slow.... Not exactly slow at 4.5 (Boldin, Fitzgerald and a bunch of pro players ran a 4.5) He doesn't make his bread and butter on Speed, he does that being physical and position. He's going to be a stud.

Calling the Baylor guy slow is just funny. His slowest time was a 4.46 at 6-3 and 217, he also ran a 4.39.

40 times aside .. the guy is a black eric decker .. hes slow on the field where it matters and when he catches he jumps out of bounds or falls down

B

Considered giving an A for refraining from giving up next year's first.

In all honesty I thought we would draft at least one prospect on the O-line for potential depth and hoped we would have gotten a solid DT, but getting value picks like Clausen and Norwood brings the grade up.

Thats the thing isn't it. Fox and Hurney did a great job of mixing solid picks with high risk flyers on some players with great athleticism. We drafted a group of guys that have addressed the two areas of most need. Backups and potential starters in the case of injury at quarterback to a successor to Moose and a quick downfield playmaker at wide receiver.

And the best part is that by building redundancy at the wide receiver and quarterback position, he is bound to hit on at least one quarterback and wide receiver who could be a franchise player for us. We could have a couple of busts and still end up with a great draft.

If you count that tyler was acquired with this year's fifth and Louis was acquired with our 6th, we really did use this draft to address the DT position.

Solid B

Hate Clausen as a person, Moore needed competition, just wish we'd grabbed someone else. Like somebody else said, he's our douche now. Wish he didn't look like one of the Icey Hot Stuntaz. Big value pick, could pay off huge.

Brandon LaFell was once a 1st round prospect, doesn't jump out, has issues with drops but had pretty good production. Hopefully more Moose than Jarrett.

Edwards I love, just wish we hadn't needed to give up a second to get him. Will need a little time, huge potential payoff.

Love Norwood.

Like the Hardy pick, value pick in the 6th. Great measurables.

Pike was another value pick, can't really argue it in the 6th round.

Don't know enough about the others.

Thats every draft..lol

No, these are almost all high risk/high reward players on the top side of our draft (Norwood being the only "safe" pick).

Guys like Clausen, Edwards, Lafell and Hardy are either going to be valuable starters in a few years or off the team. There isn't as much middle ground.
